Perfect fit both for small and large applications
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Concrete CMS in the last 5 years actively. It's a perfect fit for fast prototyping, headless projects, API-s, small projects (website in a weekend) and also for large-scale project (I have a project with huge traffic and constantly ongoing activity) and this CMS fits like a glove.
What do you dislike about the product?
No such thing. It's the combination of all the things I like to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it for all types of projects, fast prototyping, small (one weekend) and large (2 years ongoing) projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, feel it, dig into it, play around with it. Maybe it will catch your attention as well.
I've tried them all. concrete CMS is by far the best.
What do you like best about the product?
Content editors love the interface. Modern PHP7+ OOP codebase, with the best from Symphony, Laravel, Zend, etc.
All add-ons and themes are peer code reviewed (no wild-west take-your-chances like WP).

What do you dislike about the product?
Need more add-ons and themes in the marketplace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can build just about anything with it. Intranets, Document Libraries, and of course, websites.
End users require very little training.

My favorite CMS!

ConcreteCMS is very customizable, and its inline editing is the best I've seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Marketplace is lacking some add-ons that can be found in other CMSs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ConcreteCMS provides easy and granular workflows for multi-staff editing scenarios.
Amazing tool for web developers
What do you like best about the product?
Concrete5 is a very good and reliable cms tool. It is very useful for developers as well as end-users. It provides a drag and drop feature with responsive layouts which makes this tool very efficient to use. The developers can edit the layout by coding also. It provides more than 1000 add on functionalities which makes it more attractive to use. Concrete5 community support and forums are very helpful and useful. Also according to our organizational requirements, we can easily manage access control which ensures the privacy of the project. It provides multi-language support with integration with other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Concrete5 provides fewer built-in forms which basically restricts some of the client requirements. There is less documentation provided for concrete5 which is a big negative point. The user interface can also be improved and can be made more friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With concrete5 we have solved many problems such as we can now give more time to back-end functionality compared to frontend as many amazing layouts and templates are provided by concrete5. No major maintenance is required as everything is prebuilt which saves a lot of time and effort.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Concrete5 is a very good alternative to WordPress and it has more amazing layouts than other cms tools.
My CMS of choice for years
What do you like best about the product?
More intuitive approach to creating content (on the actual page). Has the plugins and templates I need without having to navigate through a jungle of choices of questionable quality. Periodic deals on add-ons, and an ease of experimenting with add-ons makes it easy to grow familiarity and skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
User forum could use a shakeup. After existing for so many years it can feel cluttered and not well organized. The transition of sites from the original architecture wasn't seemless, but the newer platform structure was a major improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building websites focused on content that look good in an intuitive way. Edit on the pages, not in a dashbooard interface to the page content. Open source makes it easy to build and experiment affordably on a hosting package.
A CMS that delivers all that is needed
What do you like best about the product?
Concrete5 is constantly growing and developing CMS that delivers all you need for any CMS-project. It also can be used as a framework and can be easily extended.
What do you dislike about the product?
It deserves be known more ;-). Also I am looking forward for a new certification and training program plus a parter section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From standard websites that need a CMS up to portals with a lot of custom implementation. In the last case I use Concrete5 as a framework.
A awesome tool for a better and inclusive web
What do you like best about the product?
Easy: installation, configuration, customization and to do improvements. A great community that help everyone in trouble (if hapens). Tons of add-ons and great numbers of theme options (could be more, but is ok).
What do you dislike about the product?
A few options to customize a theme on core system and few themes selling on market place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build a lot of websites for different industries like medicine, construction, food, automation, real state etc. The principal benefit is the time I save building with concrete5.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give a chance and you will never look back. Only will see the bright future.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Marketplace is a touch small, not as many add-ons and themes as some of its competitors
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Selling sites that a client can be left to edit themselves can be a perilous task, if you use a poor CMS you can guarantee you will be on the phone all day explaining how to use it. With Concrete5 I found that issue is gone, if your client can write an email they basically have the skill set to use Concrete5, fewer support calls means a happy developer and a happy client, couple this to a very robust permissions model and you have a great CMS.
Very Professional Open Source CMS that hits all the right areas
What do you like best about the product?
The community that comes with Concrete5 is truly amazing and all of it has come a long way in only a few years. It has a great community and just enough expansion capabilities to make it work for most application scenarios. We use it internally for process management and ticket management. We also like how easy it is to use and change to suit our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sure, it doesn't have the reach of say a WordPress in terms of expandability, but it has just enough to get the job done. The documentation could be a little better and it isn't currently as well know. But, it is still a great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides the basics to get a very professional website up and running quickly with very little if any custom code. And it is open source so, if you want to modify the source code you can. We use it to track tickets and processes internally for our use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used Drupal and WordPress in the pass and this is better. It is simpler to roll out and is very easy to use.
