RHEL- Secure, Reliable and Robust

What do you like best about the product?
RHEL is easy to deploy and configure. It is a very secure, reliable, and stable Operating System and it can be used as databases, web servers, application services, and services like DNS, DHCP, etc with high availability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The licensing cost is a little bit high for small and medium organizations. For beginners, they might face problems because they need training and practice using RHEL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m using RHEL for the webserver and database server, easy to deploy and configure will save time and effort. The regular security patches make RHEL make mare secure and free from vulnerabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
RHEL is Enterprise based Operating system which can be easily installed, configured with a high availability feature. RHEL can be used in multiple ways. Highly recommended just go with this.

A great tool for every need

What do you like best about the product?
RHEL is a tool used for deploying codebases and works as a server to the development team. It's highly customizable and can run any type of codebase/software for you. Apart from that, you can run the processes, schedule cron jobs, and the server will take care of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything particularly annoying but sometimes, if you make a configurational mistake, it's hard to track things because there is no UI. Everything is command-based. If a person is used to UI it will be a steep learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RHELs are running as part of our infrastructure and the following are the issues we are solving with it
1. Our codebase runs of linux
2. The product pipeline uses multiple open source tool like kafka cassandra. these are also runs on RHELs
3. RHEL is best suitable server for us, it saves cost and gives flexibility to run multiple processes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are someone looking for in-house infrastructure and already have the configuration decided. You can surely go for RHEL. It supports customization as per your needs and can support your usescases easily

Very New to Redhat Linux

What do you like best about the product?
The entire Operating System and the Kernal concept are the best in Redhat.
Moreover, the easiness in Command Line Interface and performance is the Feather in the Crown.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was a Windows OS guy. By overlooking the Linux Kernal Platform, initially, I thought it was challenging to work with despite the performance. But later, while getting hands-on and certification in RedHat Linux, I became a fan of RH Linux.
So, I have nothing to dislike in this RH Linux.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Automic Automation Engine and Service Manager has been deployed and maintained in the RedHat Openshift Platform.
Client up-gradation and Patching becomes easy while using this environment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compared to other Operating systems, Redhat Enterprise Linux is best in providing performance. It is easy to use in Command Line Interface Mode.

What do you like best about the product?
we are using it for the last 20 years we are running database and application and also Name server and Squid internet server very reliable very easy to manage just install and configure as per our requirement, we have purchase support and yum update LUN it updates no need to restart for just update.
What do you dislike about the product?
still not any problem that really hurt us we are very happy with this because now we totally dependant on Redhat
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
very easy to manage and integrate with any software like Oracle Database and applications no need for extra licenses just download and install no required heavy hardware just install on simple PC very smoothly running

please use this Operating system this is very secure and reliable very easy to manage everywhere is available just installs and configures

What do you like best about the product?
The support and solutions we get from RHEL official support site and from their support team. Almost all applications are compatible with RHEL and you can easily get the required help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we may gate a little late response from their support team. The documents should be openly available for other user without the need to login on their support portal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it on our production server and on top of it we have installed various softwares.its easy to find rpm for RHEL and get it deployed quickly and efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it on production server as we get best support from RHEL support team.

What do you like best about the product?
1) Open Source
2) Provides more power to the user

A bit difficult for beginners who do not have prior experience with command-line interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In one of my projects, we had our testing server loaded with red hat linux for load testing.

Open Source. One of the main advantages of Linux is that it is an open source operating system i.e. its source code is easily available for everyone,

It is industrial grade and easy to manage and scale anywhere platform to deploy nifi services for us , it can fit upto your usecase

Inability to auto scale is the biggest dissapointment here

We are not solving any problems but deploying our nifi services in RHEL

What do you like best about the product?
I am using day by day this linux environment it very easy to use and work with commands and auto files with tab
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes disconnect happens in between of work so need may due to the tool I am using putty
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this environment for restart and maintainence of the server and also for getting logs for certain issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes I reommend to use Red hat for there server maintainence as it is ase to use
