first off, compared to other images, you need major knowledge to understand how to get the image set up and login to various places to set the configuration. The whole purpose of the AMI is to avoid installing all the stuff by yourself.

I must say it looks very secure but instruction needs major improvement. you need to get each piece from different location

As far as magento goes, after finally getting through the login, the magento doesn't login because they use the clone. This is the message "We're sorry, no components are available because you cloned the Magento 2 GitHub repository. You must manually update components as discussed in the Installation Guide."

I haven't had this issue with any other magento AMIs.

I thought this would start up the Magento 2 store after initialization but you'll run into problem after problem. I don't have the time to worry about my the server is throwing an errors, seems secure but the cost of time is too great.

It was pretty easy to install, although, during the initialization part, I bumped into an error! For some reason I could not set up my domain and the default (www.example.com) was set up automatically so I could not access my new magento site. I was using PuTTY as my ssh client. After a couple of days of trying solutions with the help of the support team we couldn't bypass the error in PuTTY so we tried an online SSH client and it worked fine. The problem apparently had to do with the SSH client. After that, everything seems to be working fine. The support team was very helpful and thou the communication wasn't instant they were very good.
