Effective DBMS tool for any organization
What do you like best about the product?
The editor window is very user friendly and you can edit in multiple tabs, language is also little different rather than normal SQL, which is shorter and efficient than normal SQL, which reduces some workload
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, there may be issues while connecting with other software, like it is sometimes difficult to establish a secure connection with other software, but with the help of the service team, it may be done easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in writing queries in SQL which is necessary for the database management systems. So it is really important software.

What do you like best about the product?
I like very much. Easy to use.quality good. It is very secure. Less expensive.

Dis likes are not there. Everything is good.

We can run the queries.we can get the data. It is very secure. Reliability is high.

I stress the agility for the study, now it takes less than half the time to produce the reports, and in addition, the software has a feature that enables you to visualize the data and thus to make it easier for them to understand.

The program lacks the predictive analysis capabilities, and the licensing costs are considered to be a little high in comparison to other alternative apps that it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teradata productivity is the handle of data; it helps myself to generate historical data reports for every department in less time; I simply enter the data into the softws now and automate the data analysis and visualization, in the form of contemporary graphs that match the circumstances.

Teradata has an engine with sql support, that ensures security and also secures authentication and data.

very easy to use, excellent for sql. love the settings to keep multiple answersets, love the shortcuts, seemeingly endless history log. Able to connect to multiple databases and have multiple screens running queries
What do you dislike about the product?
maybe a little dated UI. Would be useful to not have to look up how to get to some settings. would like a little more options for colors and such, but honestly it's still really good. maybe a good improvement would be creating a wizard for connecting to drivers. also the import feature is a tad clunky.

What do you like best about the product?
Executing queries in Teradata is very fast. It provides fast and reliable connection to ETL tools such as Ab-initio. BTEQs are also very handy as i can login to teradata server using credentials and i can complete some work without using any other tool. it masks the fields where personal information like SSN is stored
What do you dislike about the product?
Teradata SQL assistant does not provide auto correct or auto suggest fieldname or columnname.
Teradata is very expensive so many clients stays aways from it or they do not scale the datawarehouse using Teradata alone

Datawarehouse. Teradata provides reliable backup. it is very efficient. we work in very time critical env. report and data delivery is everything. we rely on teradata to execute high volume data and provide results.
Quick, powerful analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
Quick tool for analysing vast amounts of data. Supporting SQL language with useful Teradata customisation to the language. Easy to update Metadata to give extra information on data - like having in a build in data dictionary
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit less intuitive than competitors (i.e. SAS), in that a small mistake can make things fall over. Unhelpful error messages make it a challenge to figure out what has gone wrong in coding in SQL Assistant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating new data tables for use in other applications and for teams to use. One of the main benefits is that if the data is well indexed, years and years of data be brought back very quickly, which is a great thing for any analyst to have.
Ideal for DWH

Query concurrency and utilities; Ideals for fast loads, multi loads and data staging and building for dwh data marts.
What do you dislike about the product?
No priority based user management, upgrades are expensive which require sometimes hardware changes.

Good Database with Parallel Processing Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Teradata is used or has been used in past by most of the business enterprises. It processes of large amounts of data with ease. Easy to navigate and good graphic user interface Business users can also use it with basic training and query knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Big data processing is a challenge due to its existing architectures. The cloud based option needs to be more affordable and at par with other service providers.

Process large scale data for reporting. Fast results were provided.
Teradata is a Powerful RDBMS software
What do you like best about the product?
Teradata is MPP and Shared nothing architecture which makes this software strong. It is scalable and there will not be any performance degrade when scaleup database. Query optimization and query rewrite system in Teradats is more powerful. I can say Teradata optimizer is stronger one, which makes to process Petabytes data faster. I love teradata because of its parallelism ,scalable, performance , ANSI standard SQL and last but not least now it works with cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really as a developer I dont have anything dislike on teradata, But when I feel as client then it is little costlier than other databases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our organization has 50 Terabytes of data and at least 50GB data will add up everyday, Teradata never failed to run complex business queries.
