Can't login to kali linux 2020
There is definitely some issue with kali linux 2020 AMI. Never allowed to login over ssh and not even port 22 is listening to telnet. which suspect something fishy and need to look in to by the provider
I had a similar issue, but it worked after I did the following. 1) ping $ip 2) attempt 1 ssh -i cert root@ec2-$ip #failed 3) attempt 2 ssh -i cert -vvv root@ec2-$ip #failed connection refused 4) attempt 3 ssh -i cert -vvv root@ec2-$ip #failed connection refused again 5) attempt 3 ssh -i cert -vvv root@ec2-$ip #better progress, but it still dropped. #asked me to login as ec2-user instead 6) attempt 3 ssh -i cert -vvv ec2-user@ec2-$ip #successful connection
Aws ec2 kali linux is very poor it's not connect ssh me try 100 times it's slow public key denied what problem me types desh -i key pair names and user name -@types public ip
