What do you like best about the product?
WordPress is one of the most minimalistic and intiutive content management systems I have every used. It is super versatile in nature. I have built sites on WordPress that range from a simple portfolio to a very complex ecommerce platform all with the help of its wide variety of plugins and themes.
What do you dislike about the product?
WordPress is not known for its performance. it does lag a bit at that but it can always be fixed using premium performance oriented plugins that boost the performace scores of your websites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We always wanted a platform that provides maximum flexibility to display complex layouts and at the same time super easy for bloggers to add blogs and other simple content to the websites. As a result we were able to adopt WordPress and make use of its plugins for complex layouts and the native CMS feature to maintain blogs and other resources.

The downside of WordPress is vulnerable to security threats.

You don't have know HTML, CSS, PHP, or other languages inorder to get started with WordPress to build websites.

WordPress have the most flexible and user-friendly UI so implementation of many features becomes easy as well. Integration related to WordPress is also easy and seamless. I frequently use WordPress because of it simplified orientation and it's customer support.

Some time because implementation of lots of plugins website may become sluggish. Because of security updates you have take countinous backup of data. Even if it is user-friendly and it's drag and drop UI but for advanced customisation Coding knowledge is required

Main problem of managing content because of clean and user-friendly UI is getting solved with ease. Secondly we can easily apply SEO to content to rank article in Search Engines. Plugins or add ons get the half job done, by that I mean we can easily use pre-developed tools to enhance our articles with ease and convenience.

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to being open source and thus free, there is a large network of developers involved. This means even the source codes of WordPress plugins that are showcased on WordPress.org can be instantly activated on a WordPress site or further forked. Imagine how much time, money, and effort this saves. Thus we can work on secret sauce instead of reinventing the wheel. Common misconceptions such as WordPress only meant for bloggers, lacks stringent security features are not true. WordPress can be used to launch websites for almost all business use cases including shopping portals. Though I agree that few business use cases such as a website centered around scientific applications might be better developed on other platforms like C instead of PHP-based WordPress. As far as security is concerned, there are plugins that can add more layer of security bringing it close to mission-critical sites used by governments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though I have seen many complaining that the WP Admin dashboard is not with great UI, I personally have no issue with this while working on the backend. Also when we say open source WordPress, this means the CMS that is maintained on WordPress.org and not WordPress.com. Many newbies seem confused with WordPress.org and WordPress.com that is more a kind of hosting service provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launching shopping portals using WooCommerce WordPress plugin. Whenever faced with any issue with mostly free plugins that we use showcased on WordPress.org, we raise a forum query and receive accurate reply most of the time. I would like to congratulate WooCommerce team in this regard as well for taking extra pain to resolve queries of even their free version users.

Dealing with 3rd party plugins can be annoying which causes us to constantly make sure the site is functional.
