Serious people use GitLab
What do you like best about the product?
GitLab's UI is just so much more chill and easy to get around. You jump in and everything's right where you expect it to be. The CI/CD setup in GitLab – it's straight-up awesome. You don't have to mess around with a bunch of tools; it's all baked in and works like a charm!
What do you dislike about the product?
The documentation could use a glow-up. It's there, but digging through it to find exactly what you need is a bit of a headache.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great alternative to GitHub. We use GitLab for version control and managing all devs.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to integrate with any other platform with all the documentation available.
The configuration of the repository is very straightforward, and the UI is very intuitive.
All of the team loved the Pull Request UI to review changes and to chat about possible changes.

Some CI/CD flows need external resources and are dependent on their availability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab was our Code repository service and CI/CD orchestrator.

I likes its built in CI/CD services and User-friendly package distribution services.

In my true experience i never felt any issue which i should dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gitlab is solving my code review, collaboration and continuous integration and delivery problem. It is helping me to collaborate with other team member in better way.

Gitlab for Sharing, Collaborating and Managing Projects
What do you like best about the product?
GitLab UI is very easy to get started and very simple to use. It also allows importing projects from existing repositories such as GitHub, BitBucket, etc. which is very good.
It also has issue tracking and milestones UI, which is simple, easy to track, and one of the best. We can also explore public projects very easily as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is quite high and it does not have any gist feature to share snippets of code. It also does not comes with student pricing, rather it provides a 30-day free ultimate plan which is nice but a student feature would be appreciated very much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab allows to share and collaborate on big projects very easily by easy cloning and Merge Requesting to projects and display my work. Collaborating on GitLab is very simple and fast.
You Can SSH In
I was able to SSH into the server just fine with `ssh -i gitlab.pem ubuntu@10.0.0.10`. Obviously update your IP as needed.

What do you like best about the product?
gitlab features like branching and merging is a good one. it reduce the complexity of the program and can avoid the conficts between the developers. And we can build pipelines in git and automates. we can go the previous commits so any error occurs we can hava a backup so the code never be stole.
What do you dislike about the product?
E GitLab's user interface has evolved over time, i still feel that some features of it are less user-friendly than those of rival version control systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we can store the code and the project in the repository also mainly we can version control so it is a great relief . We can set CI/CD in gitlab with gitlab runner .

Repository Management is the best thing that i like in GitLab. It provides web-based repository creation and management interface. With its support for both private and public repositories, we can work together on projects with various levels of access. it's so convenient

In my personal opinion, GitLab has a learning curve because of its extensive feature set, maybe some users may find that it takes some time to become skilled in utilizing this platform in all of its facets.

while we work as a team, we can effectively collaborate, keep track of changes, and preserve the codebase's versioned history with GitLab. This helps to avoid conflicts, the undoing of modifications, and the preservation of an accurate record of the development process. This is so beneficial

Performance some times slow response times and delays in loading pages.
