Complex but still my best Git platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gitlab makes use of AI ( artificial intelligence ) to boost the efficiency of every aspect of my teams software development lifecycle , thereby improving how quickly we can deliver software products by optimizing all stages of the development process.
Asides from the above, introducing AI ( artificial intelligence ) into our development workflow has had significant impacts on code maintenance, code security and even on compliance and governance.

What do you dislike about the product?
The responsiveness of Gitlabs community forums tends to be slow, unlike what is obtainable on leading Git alternatives that I have had experience using.
Also, upgrading to newer versions of Gitlab tends to be challenging due to large scale customization work that always needs to be done.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gitlab brings a lot of code integrity and version control to our development workflow, by enabling me track changes made to team code, collaborate on code in real time and revert back to previous versions of our codebase , if there is a need to.
From a business perspective, Gitlab has eliminated large scale manual tasks within our software development process , thereby leading to faster development cycles for our products.

My Own Private Repo - Gitlab
What do you like best about the product?
I have always been a fan of Gitlab since I became a tech savvy. Therefore, I use it very often since it is user-friendly even for beginner. Here are my favourite features, provide private repo and seanless and fully support version control. And it has seanless customer support and undersatndable documents are also available. Gitlab's implementation is very easy and allows to integrate with other vendor like AWS. Therfore, I use gitlab everyday to control version system of my product.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Gitlab is so hard to pin point because it is so usefull for developer, DevOps and other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gitlab plays an essential role in my DevOps career. Without proper version control system, we cannot create or release a usefull product to the market.
Best tool to keep debugging data
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing that I like about git lab is its feature to edit the document/text again once submitted. You can also keep all your related documents together inside one folder.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been having a lot of problem with git lab's public and private document feature. I had to share my document

Gitlab has been helping me while keeping by debugging logs at a single place. Also when something needs to be updated, it also helps me do the same.
User of GitLab is necessary when you are working in IT industry.

Gitlab interfece is very much easy and uderstandable to any coder so that he can manage his repository and maintain versioning in good manner .

The some concept related Ci/Cd pipelines are not easy to find in gitlab becuase of so many option ,

it is not easy to maintain the vesions of your code when you are deploying or pushing on regular basis . so there should be branching for such thing and that's when gitLab comes into play.

Good repository management tool
What do you like best about the product?
All the code written by the team is collaborated on GitLab. Its interface is also very user friendly. All members work simultaneously, and development becomes fast. Changes are tracked easily too.
What do you dislike about the product?
All is going good so far, sometimes, issues come during merge. When there is conflict, and difference in 2 files needs to be seen, it sometimes stops working, or gives wrong results. This is 1 minor issue which was observed twice only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Multiple people working on code creates issues in duplicacy and conflicts. GitLab makes working concurrently on common repository pretty easy. Everybody is able to check the changes made by others, so tracking is also maintained.

Can merge code easily from UI & make a pull request easily.

Search Feature can be improved. It does not give search feature like GitHub.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Good ui, so I have to spend less time on merge & create PR etc, rather than I give that time into logical think & actual coding.

Version controlled system is very beneficial and I collaborate with my teammates easily and effeciently. It has increased the productivity and performance.
Secure & Ease of use
What do you like best about the product?
I was using SVN earlier from using Gitlab, and I was told by my employer to switch to Gitlab first I was a little skeptical that this would not be an upgrade, but I was wrong there as when I started using Gitlab the community of this product helped me a lot as it has a vast community of developers in different platforms like StackOverflow and Reddit.
The best part of this product which I liked the most is revert & cherry-pick commands which basically helped code review meetings better and I can just see all the logs and revert the issue commit within a few seconds

What do you dislike about the product?
Since GitLab is mainly for private projects there are little downsides to it as well for instance, there are times when I have seen GitLab down and had to search on the web for its solution. This is never or very rare issue with Github or SVN.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said the cherry-pick command and revert command helped me a lot as there was a time when I used to write code and then when I needed to cherry-pick the code to the other branch for a different web environment I had to struggle a lot with code complying and code duplicacy. But after cherry-pick and the great UI of the software I can easily track and resolve the issue when reverting changes.

A great cloud-based tool for maintaining codebase
What do you like best about the product?
GitLab provides a cloud based platform to maintain our code and also provides DevSecops features that automate deployment
What do you dislike about the product?
GitLab can work on providing integration with Cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP and Azure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GitLab provides a platform to host our code repositories to promote team collaboration along with version control. Apart from storing our codebase, It also provides features to integrate CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous development) all in one platform to avoid causing the overhead of manual deployments.
Best CI/CD Interface
What do you like best about the product?
It provides a better view of building and managing pipelines, unlike bitbucket. I personally find it very smooth & easy to host code bases and build CI/CD pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the pull request view could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To build & manage repos and CI/CD pipelines and also for peer review. We are using it in our a few projects.
