A MUCH better Alternative

We evaluated two versions of WordPress. One with Bitnami and the other with this company, aMi STACX.

It really didn't start off as a comparison. It was we were frustrated with getting the Bitnami up and running that we searched and found and tried this version of WordPress.

Glad we did! I have to say this company knocked the ball out of the park the first time out. Not only were we up and running in minutes, but the performance was awesome. Everything just worked! Security groups were pre-configured. Documentation was step-by-step. Pagespeed module was available and working, and just to test support, I asked a question. To my surprise they had the answer within minutes. Seriously!

With Bitnami, I had to find the password, re-configure the security groups, and hunt around to find stuff. aMi STACX even has PHP 7.1 running as a default and that's about a 7% increase of performance over PHP 7.0 that is end of life. Plus getting Let's Encrypt to work was a breeze.

The Bitnami stack didn't have any of that, and I had to search the forums for some common issues. :/

I guess it all comes down to you get what you pay for. For us, it was well worth the time we saved to go with aMi STACX, and time is money.

Thanks and keep up the great work!

Cleaner Install - Good Docs

It's good when you see improvements of a product. Used once before and was happy, so I gave them another try for another project.

I was surprised to see improvements in the documentation, and more pre-configured advanced options. Everything was simple and stable and I could easily find everything.

That's what you want in a turnkey app provider.

Thanks!
