Accessible Data Science without Cutting Corners

  • June 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
Visual process flow, comprehensive set of current analysis tools, cross validation, and sliders for scenario/what-if analyses. And all of this is free for academic use for both professors and students.
What do you dislike?
Lack of learning resources available to get started from scratch. There are lots of videos, so this may be a non-issue for most learners. I prefer books and there is nothing except one Marketing Analytics textbook (Hair et al 2021) that is current, and uses rapidminer for some analyses.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Everything from exploratory analyses to machine learning models and deployment. It is the only resource I need to teach students about machine learning and its applications in business without starting with R or Python as a beginner in just 18 weeks in a semester.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use YouTube to get started. Lots of learning resources on YouTube.

teaching challenges especially in respect to binary classifiers
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Accessible machine learning software which is increasingly compatible with python and R. Strong recommendation.
