easy and intuitive to use with excellent documentation
What do you like best about the product?
the drag and drop feature is good. uploading the contacts or syncing up the contacts looks like a breeze. Our company email campaigns are run through this software

the email deliveries are not up to mark and sometimes we have to use other software to send to few contacts

The most easy to use email marketing tool with a great editor.
What do you like best about the product?
The single send feature with a super high deliverability system is the most compelling feature. Super easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bit of issues on the navigation. For a new user, it takes time to understand the flow. Some improvement is undoubtedly required for the analytics and reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a bulk email tool to be used for sending periodic information to our set of customers and prospects. The essential criteria for us to shortlist SendGrid was the deliverability as we were struggling with the same with few other solutions used by us in the past.
Sweet and simple - stress free emails
What do you like best about the product?
With SendGrid, I get the assurance that whatever emails I send will not end up in the junk section of my recipients. I also rather like the email builder that comes bundled with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires a better and more efficient way to mass-manage recipients. Am able to add contacts en masse though, so that's a plus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring email deliverability and mass mailing campaigns. We use it for some of our email campaigns and as a backend service for service emails.
One solution for email marketing with segments without any downtime or delay
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to implement, set up the campaign emails and newsletters and send them to industry focussed audiences or segmented audiences in a single click to a large scale, even allowing to schedule the email campaign. Moreover, one can track the activity of received, open emails and built history of interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some limitation in designing the email campaigns, and UI can be improved

I love the email tracking feature, which helps to check the audience's engagement and filter them to share more announcements or events via open rate. Additionally, it is easy to draft campaigns by drag and drop feature and share them with the team to work on. Integration and import of data work very smoothly. It's key to innovation to reach our customers and meet our goals.
Easy to use email marketing templating tool
What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use tool for making automated marketing campaigns. it was pretty easy to integrate with their different APIs and it was pretty much intuitive. It reached our expectations
What do you dislike about the product?
The login and multiuse account its kinda annoying with the 2fa. But I prefer it knowing that nobody is going to send emails on my behalf. The analytics reports could be better

We were trying to integrate email marketing automation through code in our funnel of marketing and sales, it was pretty much easy to do it and helped us to reach our thousands of registered emails.
Developer friendly email marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
It lets you track near realtime the performance of your marketing emails. it has a lot of API integrations letting you build a marketing flow as you wish for the necesities of your business
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe if you're trying to make something simple or you have no coding skills it might be difficult to use Sendgrid for the marketing campaigns. Also the UI can be a bit restrictive if you want to make quick changes.

When we used it in our organization, we were trying to create both marketing and transactional email automations attached to our platform. It was a really easy and intruitive the way is intendeed to be used.

It is allowed as many email campaigns in a month.

The monthly subscription price is a little bit high.

Sometimes edits to campaigns cannot be saved, and recently, template links displaying differently on desktop

We use Twilio SendGrid Email Marketing Campaigns for contact form submission automation and for communicating with segments of our client case as well as for marketing to prospect lists.
A decent email marketing platform
What do you like best about the product?
Sendgrid Email Marketing system has a good UI for building campaigns with medium complexity. It is simple enough to use for non-technical people to build the campaign itself but with enough features for the power user as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first thing for email marketing systems is to have excellent deliverability. This is, alas, SendGrid's weaker point. If using the shared IP pool, emails get rejected as spam by many of the larger suppliers, and you can only get through but using a dedicated IP (at extra cost, of course)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The first issue we were solving with Sendgrid was deliverability. We needed a system that would allow us to send both authentication emails, notification emails and marketing emails with high level of deliverability. We were able to achieve that by using the dedicated IP feature in SendGrid. The second requirement for us was a robust API to connect to our systems. We were also using SendGrid's template builder to let our graphics designer and content marketers build the emails in the system itself.
