It's very simple to stand up a tls front end for legacy apps.

The config is still cryptic for new people.

We Osoftware that we dont want to put on the Internet and we dont want an expensive waf so we use haproxy.
Using HAProxy as a smart connection router for WebSocket connections into meeting servers.

It's complete control over the connection management lifecycle

The config system is a bit esoteric .. have to learn a domain specific configuration

We needed a "smart@ router that could connect users to preconfigured and matched meeting servers
HAProxy has been super reliable.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility while being easy to use. We have had zero issues using HAProxy which has been extremely reliable for our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are currently running on fargate but it would be great if it was managed service that AWS provided.

We have been able to managed websocket connections.

We have used it as our main load balancer and inter point for our systems for years and love every feature! Easy to use, easy to debug, easy to deploy. Can't beat it!
