Easy Query and fast retrieval
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Vertica for storing massive healthcare data and doing analytics and querying fast
What do you dislike about the product?
May be the licence part and maintaining the clusters
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data recovery and retrieval is so much easy with Vertica. Clustered approach helps the data backup of ensures there is no loss oof data

It suports large volume of data and able to perform analytics in almost real time. It separates compute & storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
It focuses primarily on structured data.

Flexible deployment model is supported
vertica - a highly scalable and available database system
What do you like best about the product?
The availability of spread and it's scalable nature. It's ability to integrate with a large variety of tech stack including spark.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to scale without vertica assistance. In terms of both machine support and database scaling.

It's creates an easy integration with our tech stack providing an apt business friendly database system

Vertica as a columnar database is good and efficient candidate for massive parellel processing

Ease of use and its ability to be flexible. Syntax are similar to that of SQL and most of post processing queries can be run effortlessly.

Commercialising a good product is not upto the mark. Forums are not very active and for some basic queries support can be improved

Simplifies ELT and superfast in loading and copying data from one schema/table to another. Process flow and performance helps to run complex queries easily
