the next generation protection for cloud
What do you like best about the product?
The most important thing that i liked is securtiy signatures, as the name is the pioneer in the market and its scalability to our environment which has helped us reduce attack surface
What do you dislike about the product?
the downside of using this is lack of integration with some of the other techologies we use and the the UI can be better .Other thing i would like to see is constant updates from their team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it is helping us by defining the security policies and also by enforcing them.Also most importantly it is reducing our enterprise risk.

What do you like best about the product?
I LOOOVE everything about it! The way it automates the system from the discovery up to defense, and the good thing is you can view it in a single pane of glass. It sure delivers better security once you have the full view of your network's traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe one of the areas to improve is its compatibility with other cloud providers like GCP. I'm not sure if there's already an updated bundle that includes that, but that would be great if it's included in their portfolio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love how McAfee discovers my servers/environments/services and how it checks them for compliance. As a technical support engineer, McAfee really contributes to the overall security of the organization's network.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it monitors any virus and threats that got in the system. It's just running in the background and you doesn't have have to install an agent to integrate it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love everything about this product by McAfee. I can't think of something I dislike, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of management centralization, McAfee addresses. Since we have cloud and hybrid systems, it has easy integration and automated workloads in one single plane.

Some sensors keep restarting. Therefore it is hard to work.

Quite simply doesn't work
The EPO service "hung on starting" and you never get the username/password in the logs.
Also this is a 2012R2 machine and that is end of support.
Can't get it to work
Hmm... Perhaps I am doing some thing wrong.... I create the EC2 from the Market place and it provisions without any issues, but no username or password is in the Syslog as per the guide. I selected the standard security group the AMI creates and all required ports are open, however the web interface doesn't load. I log into the EC2 using the Windows local admin password and there is a shortcut to ePO on the desktop, but it is an invalid short cut.

Not just provides a better and secure environment but also help developer to work under a secured platform. Easy to collaborate with different web servers without any hassle.

quality security for a good price
What do you like best about the product?
The McAfee Server Security Suite is consistent in providing quality security for my computer. Great customer service! Quality feedback and support, efficient in helping with any problems. Nice to have access to detect any suspicious activity or viruses on computer as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
If anything, it is a bit expensive, but you get good service - get what you pay for. Sometimes the layout is a bit tedious as well, but does not effect the overall usability of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backing up files and making sure all materials - not just sensitive materials - are safe on my computer. Traveling a lot with a computer can make it susceptible to hackers, but having the McAfee Server Security Suite makes it easy to know that all of my information is safe.

Consistently check your security suite so you don't miss any suspicious activity. If confused with anything, definitely contact customer support as they are very helpful.
