ADC has lots of functions but it isn't easy to implement and use.
What do you like best about the product?
Load Balance is the best function of Citrix ADC. We are transferring this service from other servers or devices to enjoy all capabilities of Citrix ADC
What do you dislike about the product?
We are trying to use VPN over Citrix ADC with MFA and it shows a little difficult to set up for our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transferring the service from SAP Load Balance to Citrix ADC and it is showing a better availability for our service.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Citrix ADC is an excellent device to support business growth.

Good Platform for Load Balancing and Content Switching
What do you like best about the product?
Feature rich and fairly stable platform. Fairly inclusive ecosystem of products from the Edge to the Datacenter
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow support and convoluted API system. The slow support is especially a problem when you have issues that impact production
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Load balancing to critical web applications and other forms of application servers. The content switching aspect is also very helpful for namespace management

What do you like best about the product?
Citrix ADC paired with Citrix ADM make managing load balancing a breeze, especially in complex environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. Citrix ADC is reliable and stable as well as easy to troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Citrix ADC to load balance complex Citrix virtualization environments. HDX insight is a life saver, especially when paired with remote hosted Citrix environments.
Citrix ADC - Versatile Security Appliance
What do you like best about the product?
The Citrix ADC product line offers a wide array of functions and features for securing user access into our environment. We like how this product can be used for many uses (load balancing, content switching, gateway access, posture validation, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
The menu flow isn't the most intuitive and makes it hard to get used to plus help train other people on. You'll find certain logs/etc can't be accessed from the GUI requiring extra knowledge on of the CLI. You have to be very careful with upgrades we always work with our TAM to ensure our upgrade path/version so we minimize our risk and introducing any new issues in our environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Citrix ADC prodvies a secure channel for our users to connect through and load balance allowing us to offer maximum aviablibity as we can incorporate multple levels of redundancy. It also give us the ability to have deeper visibility into users sessions and help breakdown potential issues as they arrise.

Upgrading the ADC software is usually straightforward and easy. Also any support issues for the ADC is usually excellent those are the important points for me
What do you dislike about the product?
My experience with the EPA is what I dislike and is not working very well for us.

It's helping us as a secure gateway and access point into our network

ADC is a good product do your research because its a very powerful piece of equipment which can meet your needs in most situations

The Citrix ADC can deliver Citrix app from multiple Citrix environments very seamlessly.

The Citrix advanced policies can be more challenging to learn or write.

Well supported. Good features. Fixes for security issues are sent out quickly.

Sometimes confusing to find where things are in the GUI interface.

We use ADC to present SSL communication to the public and hide the backend servers from being exposed.
