Citrix ADC - Formerly Netscaler - Great secure access for our users
What do you like best about the product?
Once up and running, easy to maintain and modify. Easy for our end users to connect remotely through our ADC environments. We've been able to move multiple load balancers from other systems to our ADC environments
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrades can be troublesome and disk space issues can be difficult to track down to free up space for upgrades. Error messages aren't always clear in these regards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excellent for our end user remote access and easy to lock down for 3rd party vendor access. Load balancing works very well vs other solutions
NetScaler set and forget...just not about the certificate renewals!
What do you like best about the product?
Once the NetScaler is configured you can pretty much forget about it until it's time for a cert renewal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Upgrades are not as straightforward when using a theme on ADC.

ADC assists in securing applications and load balancing!
WBD Citrix ADC review
What do you like best about the product?
Citrix ADC is most helpful to provide secured encrypted traffic from Internet to the data center. I like the way it is designed only to allow traffic though 443 port and establish VPN tunnel virtually from any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are slightly complex and it is not very user-friendly. A more simpler GUI-based configuration of features will help reduce the complexity and dependency on individuals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All our vendors/contractors/partners make use of Citrix ADC to access WBD's Citrix applications. It reduces the time and effort to get legal approval for establishing secure network connectivity from the vendor premises to the WBD corporate infrastructure

Citrix ADC is an appliance mandatory to any corporate organization who wants to provide secure access to the applications/Virtual Desktops
An All in One Solution
What do you like best about the product?
We like that we can combine VIP load balancing and Citrix Gateways in one appliance and retire some other load balancing hardware.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the user GUI has not been updated for as long as we have used the product, and some features are hard to find unless you know what exactly you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can retire some older competitor appliances and move their load-balanced VIPS to the Citrix ADC instead. we are also leveraging multiple Citrix gateways from the ADC instead of using a Citrix Storefront front-ended solution.
Powerful network device.
What do you like best about the product?
Very feature rich. Easy to use and adminster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the easiest to implement. Citrix also could provide more implementation assistance without charging.

Load balancing mostly. Also app firewall is great. Amazing product for security.

Citrix ADC Review
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Citrix compared to other products is that it installs an SSL certificate on Citrix and assigns it to the relevant virtual servers, and it is much simpler in the process of adding more than one certificate with SNI.
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI log interface is weaker than other manufacturers. It can be difficult to view detailed logs without ADM. Depending on your level of expertise, you can see some logs that you cannot see in the GUI from the CLI interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We increase the security importance of the websites and applications that we host on the internet with WAF and ensure that customer access is faster / continuously accessible thanks to caching.
Application Delivery Controller
What do you like best about the product?
One of the easiest GUI for administrators, easy to admin with adequate security features, that any enterprise-class customer is looked for. ready template for many application which ease the admin task at the time of configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer may need an additional log management system for log management and its analysis. However Citrix has it's on logs management solution, which can analyze the triggers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acting as Application load balancer, most of the applications template are available which eases the admin tasks, SSL VPN for very niche services. trun around time to business increased, creates secure channels to provide access from data centre to end point.
Citrix still rules in the virtual workspace

Integration with other platforms as VMware virtual infrastructure, not locked in. to a fixed vendor
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Used product versions for several decades
