No cringing here! I've worked with more than a few so-called turnkey installs, but this is by far the best, and support actually responds.
Even is working on the older t2-micro for those who still want to make use of the free tier.
My suggestion is to install via HTTPS and your domain during the wizard by using a host file. They have this info on their site.
Yes, you can use HTTPS as a placeholder during install using the default signed cert. Then you can get a real cert or make use of Cloudflare's Full.
