Solid appliance for terminating IPsec in the cloud
My organization uses VyOS appliances to implement a security services VPC for other VPCs in our infrastructure. We've been very pleased with the stability and performance. If you are looking to "roll your own" NAT instance, you may want to consider using VyOS. One major caveat to deployment is a complete lack of documentation for VyOS's cloud-init implementation, which was re-written for 1.2. This a big pain point for us as our infrastructure is codified in terraform. Overall, I would encourage companies with complex VPC networking requirements to evaluate this product.
Hi! we now much improved in terms of cloud-init integration it's possible to load commands and even whole config from userdata it's now in rolling and will be available in 1.2.6 Thanks for the review!
