A superb vulnerability scanner that's perfect for IT pros who are new to vulnerability scanning.
What do you like best about the product?
Intruder is a great stepping stone into the world of vulnerability scanning. Its UI is well-optimized, hip and informative, and the tagging system makes it easy to organize your targets. A target's raw scanner output, vulnerability description and remediation steps make it easy even for junior techs to remediate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The installation process can be unforgiving if you mistype your target's name, requiring you to uninstall the agent and re-run the script instead of being able to rename the target from within the platform. So far, Intruder is very much targeted to single companies and not MSPs, making asset management and reporting messy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder currently solves the intimidating leap IT professionals have to take when it comes to using complex and often confusing cybersecurity tools. Intruder isn't only well designed from a UI standpoint and modern, but it's also informative and friendly enough for even greener IT technicians to use when it comes to understanding and remediating vulnerabilities.

Great product with an easy to use control panel
What do you like best about the product?
Nice and easy to use control panel. Very good report and risk review.

What do you like best about the product?
Intruder provides vulnerability scanning/pen-testing that brings value to our organisation, ensuring our security and our clients are happy with what intruder has provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
The scanning time may be longer at certain times, but this is normal and depends on the target itself. This is the only current weakness. However, i believe the team at Intruder is willing to look into this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intruder solves our organisation's initial issue, which was needing vulnerability scanning and pen-testing. We have surveyed the market and settled for Intruder as the best option.

What do you like best about the product?
Setup is a breeze and takes minutes to get started. The interface is one of the best I've seen and provides excellent insight with great reporting. Having straightforward pricing available on the website is very helpful. Overall, the platform was just what we wanted when searching for this type of solution. I can sleep better at night knowing Intruder is proactively protecting our network.

There's nothing that comes to mind for any dislikes.

We were looking for an automated vulnerability scanner to provide clear and concise knowledge of potential vulnerabilities and remediation. The emerging threats scan feature is helpful and ensures of staying on top of new vulnerabilities.

Simplicity in running scans on endpoints. Good details to push you in the right direction to get your vulnerabilities patched.

Installing the agent on internal endpoints could be more straightforward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of not knowing what is outdated or vulnerable on our network. It benefits us by allowing us to keep our endpoints and networks patched.

What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use and setup is not to difficult. Because we had an external PEN test done, i could compare the result and it was more extensive then the result we had. Nothing was missed! So easy to use and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things I dislike after my tree trial use. So I will start a subscription for our servers and software and will have to come back to this. Preferably not!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers expect we do everything to guarantee the security of their data, which we handle in providing the services they want. As a small company, this needs a high level of automation and recurrent feedback. Intruder offers this in a way more manageable way than outsourcing this to third parties. I don't think the subscription model is cheap, but it is a good deal compared to outsourcing.
Easy, intuitive, just what we needed!
What do you like best about the product?
The team were helpful onboarding us. The interface is intuitive, and I can get scans at any time I need, along with reports I can share with our clients, which makes the scanning scope very clear. The cherry on the cake is the ability to create Jira issues when something that needs attention is detected. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up everything. All in all, very happy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, nothing. It's exactly what we needed. I spent some time researching the many approaches and tools available for vulnerability scanning / penetration testing and this one hit the sweet spot for us - giving the balance of cost, functionality and ease of use that suits our application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I know the system is regularly scanned, including against emerging threats. I know that, if anything that needs attention comes up, it will be automatically added to our Jira board. It's freeing my time to focus on core activities, while reassuring me of our status and giving me clear reports I can share with clients.
User-friendly and covers most areas that you need to start.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive, and the results are easy to interpret. There is no friction to get set up or get your first scans running.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a four-week wait period to reuse a license that has been released. Every subdomain is considered a new target.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It runs routine scans on endpoints for my production clusters and provides a friendly UI and a number of integrations to alert us to risks.

What do you like best about the product?
Intruder keeps ahead of the threats that emerge every day. As threats emerge or sites are tested against them and we are notified of the results. TAkes away the constant worry of threats on my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it is a great service with good reporting and notifications.

The background monitoring of new threats, as well as the monthly complete threat testing saves my team the distraction and allows them to focus on productive work.

The nessus internal scanner slows down the PC a lot during scanning.

All ambiguities were resolved in an incredibly fast time in the online chat.
