What do you like best?
Custom dashboards and reports make a single pane of glass type view for troubleshooting network congestion using netflow. The ability to click on most anything to drill down into details and add filters makes this product a joy to work with.
What do you dislike?
There is a bit of a learning curve. It isn't straight forward out of the box and the linux platform does take some cli know how to manage the system.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Determining the cause of network congestion -- after receiving alerts for high interface utilization, one click to scrutinizer is all we need to find the culprit.

If you are getting an appliance, you wont have full access to it. Over all great product, but reporting could use some polishing and advance features.

Great troubleshooting tool. We use it daily for troubleshooting and analytics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Appliance is great for enterprise grade networks, but beware you will not own the appliance and any upgrades and such will need to done by support.

What do you like best?
Once configured, gives a good overview of network activity.
What do you dislike?
Confusing interface
Difficult to customize
Virtual Appliance is handicapped compared to physical hardware.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
It's useful for tracking protocol usage and traffic volumes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you purchase, go with the Hardware Appliance. It's much more flexible than the VM for capturing traffic.
