What do you like best about the product?
Once you finish putting together a worksheet, you can publish and share it with your team or other departments as shared resources for data analysis. It's a huge time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a challenge to get new users spun up on the platform promptly if they are not familiar with using the Sigma tool. The additional learning resources in the help center make this more manageable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a huge time saver where a worksheet can be created once and shared across different teams to provide quick resoruces for data analysis and presentation for account managers. These data slices can show positive and negative trends over time in easily digestible snippets that facilitate smoother account strategy conversations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to show Large volumes of Data visually

Easy to use and build, Some time consuming aspects but updates keep rolling out
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use - as long as you have a team to organize the underlying tables, the tool is then very easy for users that may not have advanced SQL knowledge to then go in and build custom reporting and perform data analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scalability - when leveraging Sigma for customer reporting, there was not a way to dynamically schedule reports. What I mean by this is that we would send the same report to multiple customers but would drop in a unique ID so that the report would filter for only their data. This required us to create copies of the report and then schedule when it would be ideal to be able to apply the filter when scheduling the report.

What do you like best about the product?
Sigma covers a large range of reporting which is simplified and intuitive once you have the data. It is relatively easy to jump into Sigma with little to no working knowledge and still produce something worthwhile. We like the ease of edit and the ability to have multiple workers change a single workbook or design without too much hassle. Intricate charts and designs are easy to produce and equally easy to modify. We can create new workbooks very quickly once the data is set up properly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data manipulation within Sigma is not as easy for more complex issues. Some simple things such as column merging, mathematical formulas of data, and slicing are more time-consuming than needed which makes big workbooks for large issues time-consuming to initially set up. For workers who are not as savvy with SQL and other programming languages, this is particularly difficult as a lot of the data needs to be edited and queried first or else there won't be enough resources in Sigma itself for them to deal with the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sigma solves the issues of quick reporting on an array of issues. Once the data is formatted many different teams can easily create workbooks and charts that provide plenty of insight into any issues they might be researching. The flexibility of quick reporting and ease-of-use is the big benefit of using Sigma over other competitors.

Visibility with the business for stakeholders. Using creative methods to automate reports and present data in a way that has not been seen before for stakeholders in the company

Sigma's ability to present your data in a simple format while giving the opportunity to drill down on your categories.

User Experience is a bit harsh when drilling down, filtering data isn't easy.

It's very user-friendly and you don't need to know SQL etc, to build complex reports and gain great insights.

no complaints so far. They have great support too that helps with troubleshooting.

Gaining more insight into our customer, defining key metrics, building dashboards, running quick querries for quick answers

Can be difficult to understand but just requires team to learn software

We've been able to more quickly identify patterns and issues, thus allowing us to pivot more quickly towards solutions

What do you like best about the product?
The interface works well for those who already understand Excel and don't have much SQL experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the performance can be slow, especially if you're not on Snowflake.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a great lightweight visualization tool that lets you do 99% of what you generally need in BI. We've gotten more people to explore our data since starting with Sigma because of the more friendly UI than our past tools.
