Helped us become unstoppable in mitigating cyberattacks - great product
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is it helped us secure our data from ransomware and also helped with continuous monitoring and recovering our applications. Also, it made our data resilient by safeguarding it with secure backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that the threat containment is very poor compared to the competition and efficiently data can be compromised efficiently with phishing and DDoS attacks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving data protection loopholes which existed and securing the data, which has truly secured our data workloads and helped us be future-proof in preventing any cyberattacks
Great product with great support and service
What do you like best about the product?
your backup data is immutable as soon as it is written to our purpose-built, append-only file system and cannot be modified, deleted, or encrypted by ransomware

Restore process for Microsoft 365 data could be better
maybe some tweaking on the GUI

What do you like best about the product?
Rubrik is very easy to use and provides very reliable and immutable backups of systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting could use some improvements.

Rubrik has allowed us to easily and quickly backup our critical servers and provide comfort, knowing they are safe from ransomware.

What do you like best about the product?
A great backup and restore appliance for IT professionals. It is very easy and fast to be installed and delivered by the company. It has a very easy management interface even for a first-time admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the Vmware environment, the recovery phases from backup can be annoying in conflicting processes with integrated applications such as RP4VM. Maybe the problem is solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SQL, virtual machine, file backup met our backup needs. It also provided disaster recovery site replication. It also provided very good opportunities for backup protection.

RansomWare detection and Protection, NFS shares, VMWARE and MS365 backup, Great reporting

ways to improve on documentation, more training

we sold Rubrik to couple of clietns for their Nutanix Inf. At that time I was only on sales, so all the feedback I got was purely from the project team.
A great backup solution that could be awsome
What do you like best about the product?
The setup is the quickest I have ever seen for starting the backup of your environment, the UI is simple and super easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks the application aware option and many other solutions that are a standard with other solutions, as an example you can't recover exchange mails without a 3rd party tool

Rubrik spare you the need to worry for a target repository since the storage is built on the machine, the backu is fast and simple yet it lacks some features that could make it awesome
Backup & Data protection solution for Enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
Rubrik is key vendor in space of data management and backup, available on premise and all major cloud providers. Rubrik could be used as backup software with or without Rubrik provided h/w on premise. If you also want storage h/w for backup, Rubrik has storage appliance from multiple h/w vendor like SuperMicro, HP, Dell etc.
Rubrik also provide data protection capability in cloud and available for O365 backup offerings.
Overall Rubrik could provide backup s/w, h/w, on-prem, cloud, O365, that make a complete backup solution an enterprise could reply upon for their application, OS, Database and other workload backups

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the customer has Dell Data Domain or other h/w like Oracle ZFS, not sure if Rubrik could integrate with those appliance based solution. More documentation on website and white papers could be published by Rubrik
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating backup software from multiple old legacy software to one Rubrik. So Rubrik will have one backup for Enterprises for on-premise and cloud workloads.

User friendly option at production levels

Nothing at all for the moment and it keeps getting better

Cloud and security related issues and since i'm on the same field it helps in lot of ways

It's GUI. it is very easy to understand.

RBS registration. sometimes it is registering but actually it's not.

Rubrik is doing their job well. It is really good Backup software. We can upgrade thit manually our own.
