Veeam Bakcup for Microsoft 365
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam gives you not only the ability but also the flexibility to back up all your M365 data without vendor lock-in. It is storage agnostic, and simply works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly wish Veeam could have had its own cloud storage. Other than this, it simply works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to back up your M365 data, and the ability to restore to wherever, whenever it is needed.

Versatile Veeam
What do you like best about the product?
Best resource to backup, restore/retrieve and also helps to replicate data on VM's without any hassles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't find anything bad using it. Because it's the great S/W to backup data from On prem server, infra and cloud as well

Solid backup solution with Veeam
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of use with the Veeam Backup solution for Microsoft 365. There are very easy integrations that allow you to link the accounts and enable a backup solution. Especially good for a small IT team
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited configuration settings for backup RPO and RTO settings. These may be limitations of the Microsoft 365 solution but nonetheless are a difference with other standard backup products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This ensures that there is no data loss and file loss. It comes especially handy when you are decommissioning users from Office 365. This ensures that files that they owned even after deleted can be referred back in case of emergency. Otherwise, these are traditionally lost.
Veeam is the data vault that's pretty hard to crack
What do you like best about the product?
Integrated with Microsoft 365, I can rest assured the data is safer than anywhere else. The backup is incremental, so we do not lose space or get lost on the latest version, and we can store our data anywhere we like: on-premises or in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the free version offers ten free accounts, the paid version takes them from you. Also, a slight adjustment to the user interface might be in order. Other than that, Veeam is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam allows me to back up whatever I have on my Microsoft 365 account: from the data stored in our Sharepoint accounts to the TEAMS files. Being able to save on-premises is a significant advantage over the rest, which is coupled with a very easy way to restore the needed data in a few simple steps.
Veeam Solid Choice for 365 Backups
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of implementing and getting set up. The configuration process only took an hour or so. I wish other vendors could be this easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price was an initial turn off, but once we went through what the product did and how it met our needs, I felt comfortable with moving forward.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Giving our team peace of mind that our data is secure and that we are not entirely reliant on Microsoft to secure our data.

Integrates well with the software, backup is simple.

Documentation is sparse, often need to google to find how to do things.

Helps keep storage consistent across multiple devices at different work locations.
M365 Veeam Backup
What do you like best about the product?
It prevents the risk of losing access and control of O365 data by storing the data on cloud as well to our local environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can be reconsider based on utilisation of resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a user I am having access to my files and other resources without any issue. It ensures data availability without any loss.
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 backs up all of your items/data that is stored in Office 365. It's a very efficient and trustworthy tool. I highly recommend it!!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365. If anything, it can be confusing and hard to set up at first. Just make sure to read the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without even thinking, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 backs up all of my data, notes, and files that I need. This can be an issue sometimes if I accidentally delete something or forget to save it.
A good option to keep a backup of your 365 suite
What do you like best about the product?
It is a good tool to help you keep your 365 suite's data secure, so you don't accidentally lose critical information. It helps keep a backup of all your Microsoft 365 apps like teams to keep your business safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial setup process and setting permissions for data storage could have been easier. It would have been helpful to have a walkthrough or easy-to-follow support doc to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup has helped us keep our data in Microsoft secure. I always heard that one of my colleague's firms lost all the data they had in Microsoft teams, which was a nightmare for them. Taking a lesson from their loss, we quickly started looking for tools to secure our data. This is when we found Veeam Backup. Now we don't have to worry about the safety of our data.
Even more peace of mind for MSFT365
What do you like best about the product?
We ended up not using this as the existing backup tools were more than adequate. Hosting in Azure we were able to get backup, recovery, monitoring and reporting for our virtual, physical and cloud workloads, all from a single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure why this product is needed. There may be an application if you want to diversify your solutions but in this case, we went all MSFT and found the solution simple and seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to see if there was a more economical and simpler tool for secure backup and recovery. Ultimately - while the cost looked to be better the complexity just wasn't worth it.
