The best mediaplatform for education
What do you like best about the product?
Security management. In our organisation we want to maximize control over data which we can with this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Publishing options provide a broad variety of options which make it harder to understand for users, I think this could be made simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kaltura is providing a secure video platform for our teaching staff, students and other staff. It helps making digital educationo possible within our organisation.

Extensive Integration Possibilities
What do you like best about the product?
Kaltura Cloud has one of the comprehensive APIs in the industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of SIP streaming isn't standard and in many cases cost-prohibitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distribution of lectures on current medical research, and patient education videos. Live streaming of town halls to our locations around northern New England.

What do you like best about the product?
Kaltura is great for organizing content in a clean way for company-wide use. Setting up channels and organizing is easy and straight forward. Unlike competitors, all events, VOD content can live in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The backend settings can be a little complex and overwhelming and Annoto partnership for interactive video features may be best used by higher ed clients than corporate clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Kaltura team has been helpful in fixing a few bug issues like making sure private internal videos do not show up on the public home page. They are also working on updating their meeting/conference room interface to make it more modern and be more efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
The many interesting things we can do with video, channels, meeting rooms, etc. is very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interace/functionality is not always intuitive. Not unlike many programs we use. Once familiar with it using it is easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It enhances the training content we can distribute to our customrs. It also helps us connect with our customers in a personal way, that we typically would have to do via travel and in person meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
Virtual classrooms allow us to create a learner experience that is quite seamless and offers an elevated user experience compared to other platforms. For example, we are able to better manage breakout groups, move participants within them, and share content during them. In addition, it is a user-friendly experience when onboarding facilitators that will be facilitating our virtual learning programs. (NOTE: our company solely uses the virtual classroom from Kaltura's suite of products)
What do you dislike about the product?
No major dislikes. Only comment would be that many times when a ticket is opened it would go to multiple different people over the course of being open and often a resolution would take an extended period of time to replicate and/or resolve for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows our Events and Virtual experience team to more seamlessly execute virtual events and learning programs, and feel confident in training facilitators to deliver these programs using the Kaltura platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Without a doubt, the capabilities as a cloud for uploading and playing videos are spectacular. But in my opinion, the best part is the API, a powerful tool that allows you to do practically everything, which makes it easy to integrate into your own system, whatever it is.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no doubt that it is a tool for professionals, which makes many modules available to grow little by little. But I find a lack of cheap entry options that can help small businesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the encoding and publishing of the videos is where it helps us the most. Asset management through the platform is really easy and powerful. The benefit is obtained by being able to integrate the display and management options also from our own platform.
