Great BI Tool apart from the odd bug
What do you like best about the product?
The speed from going from 0 to having a dashboard is a big plus. The scripting language makes it straightforward to do whatever ETL you need to do, and is especially helpful when the systems you are extracting from need some work to clean the data up. The drag and drop UI makes it simple to create charts and drag on relevant fields, although some learning is needed to do some more complex expressions
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real issue I have found is that, and this is due to the regular product updates and my desire for the newest features, with new versions come a few bugs. Support from software partners is good but it does take a little while for Qlik to get back to you with an update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Qlik Sense to replace existing manual reports in Excel, saving employees hours per week and having them prepared on a schedule ready for when people start work. We have also used it for producing new reports, combining data from our ERP system and Google Analytics. Due to the speed of getting data out of Qlik Sense we have also managed to find and quantify serious problems, mainly around delivery and system integration issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend taking your time to get reporting out to the business as once the reports are out there you will have many more requests! Getting self-service reporting out to the business becomes more difficult when you have other demands so try to give yourself time to prepare this too

While it is designed to take advantage of HTML, many of the features available in QlikView are not available in Qlik Sense as native objects.

What do you like best about the product?
Our company began its experience with Qlik 6 years ago. At the beginning we used View and for two years we have integrated Sense and Nprinting. The IT (business intelligence) team and the MS (advanced analytics) team coordinate the infrastructure and manage the releases, which reach every branch of the company.
I believe that thanks to its scalability it is suitable for medium to large companies. The complexity of the proprietary language and the link with scripting make it not very accessible to small companies, where however it is certainly less necessary
What do you dislike about the product?
The three main points on which the tool can be improved are undoubtedly: to allow a greater possibility of native customization, to allow less link to scripting and more wizards and finally to provide certified and officially maintained extensions

Qlik is being used by our organization to track our quarterly numbers, baselines from previous quarters, and years, and connect with other data sets.

Ability to update in real time sometimes and having AI/ML piceses

This program is important so that I can see how my customers have consuming n the past and opportunities for me to grow them in the future.

The software is very versatile and the UI is intuitive. The company support is very easy to get in touch with and very helpful.

Can get a little slow with large datasets. It can be overwhelming to work with so much data.
