The pricing model is complex and difficult to predict without buidling your expertise on the software.

Scale datawarehouse up and down based on demands. Cutting down on unused resources while maximizing resource utilization

Snowflake's next generation features with familiar SQL features makes it the smarted choice in data Warehousing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not possible! Snowflake is revolutionary in data warehousing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problem throughout our . Sale, Finance, CS, Engineering, IT are all relying on Snowflake for their daily needs. We can answer question across the business at speeds not imaginable before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate. Give this a try. We've were all disappointed by the Hadoop wave, this is much better direction.

Virtual data warehouses separate out compute workloads and provide isolation

Lack of intellisense Integration with PowerBI is not as tight as it needs to be.

This software is so easy to use and integrate into my existing infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this current time i have no dislikes of the solution

MIgration from our existing platform that we had outgrown.
Performant, plain & simple
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is fast, I really enjoy being able to execute complex queries in seconds as opposed to waiting for an extended period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the web UI is a little bit quirky. There's no find and replace in the query workspaces. Nothing major sticks out though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Snowflake to build an internal app and support Customer Experience departments with building their part of the business.
Snowflake is super solid
What do you like best about the product?
I love the freedom that the web UI gives me. I need to work remotely at least once a week and the web UI is much more reliable than any other that I have used. Snowflake is also more stable than previous software I've used.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor in the web UI is a little feature poor. Things like find and replace and auto-prediction are missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do mainly data analytics to find and diagnose issues for a call center environment. I have noticed that Snowflake has had a real easy time integrating our old data and any new data that is piped in.
Fast and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Snowflake is convenient, with a web UI that saves your worksheets in the cloud. It is incredibly powerful, letting you do queries that execute faster than Oracle SQL by orders of magnitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web UI is a little underdeveloped. It has some powerful features like cloud syncing and best-of-class support for multiple cursors, but it also has some glaring omissions such as Find & Replace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Snowflake is letting us run queries that weren't possible with Oracle just because of how powerful it is. Stuff that would take hours before can now finish in less than 2 minutes.
