Vulnerability Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Qualys VMDR makes managing vulnerabilities so easy. It's easy to read and get a breakdown of what's going on in the environment and to know where your primary focus at the time needs to be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Least helpful part is that sometimes the Qualys score for a vulnerability will be very different than the CVSS score and so it's hard to know which one to base things off of and which may be more reasonable for our environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it so much easier to know and see that patches are happening and working. It also has let us see that we have vulnerabile versions of software lingering that we thought were cleaned up.

Qualys has been a great asset to our tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
VMDR gives us a holistic view of our assets and our risk. True Risk is a allows us to prioritize accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we use rolling servers, I dislike that our inventory can at times have stale detections for servers that are no longer active.

It helps us prioritize and manage vulnerabilities and patches.

Lacks drill down for more experienced users to pivot and analyze.

Quicker response time finding and fixing vulnerabilities
Vmdr has everything you need to run and maintain a secure vulnerability protection program

VMDR has great dashboards and insight for vulnerability remediation

It's not user friendly for new users and setting up the agents can be tricky.

Easy console , very helpful and easy to understand gui , reporting options , since it is saas it is fast as well .

Nothing as such . It has all the modukes required and now with addition of csam its great for asset management as well.

Csam module enables tou to get or query asset inventory . Patch management allows you to patcb these asap and even automate them .
we had tremendous experienc in identifying active vulnerabilities and fixing them with priority. .

The report templates available on Qualys is more essential for an IT team to prioritize their patching with the tons of active vulnerabilities in the network
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific, we had always a good experience with this vendor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identify and prioritize the number vulnerabilities along with wast details for each vulnerability such as detection criteria, solution and result etc....
Excellent pentesting scanner.

OWASP Top 10 2021 alignment of findings. PowerPoint report option.

Virtual appliance not included by default.
