What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy agent based setup
2. Nice UI/UX for searching the logs
3. Dashborad creation with proactive rule based alerting
What do you dislike about the product?
slow when searching for a large date range across huge data set
costly and some fileting and aggegation option available in ELK is missing

software Observability and it has a entire platform for doing it like APM, log analysis, SIEM and many more systems to monitor and gain insights about your software

What do you like best about the product?
Support is second-to-none, documentation is excellent, deployment is a breeze, and they're constantly innovating and adding new integrations in their app library.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have anything negative to say about SumoLogic's platform and I've been using it for 2 years now. This is with over a decade of SIEM/log aggregation administration experience using countless 3rd party products. If I had to get crazy and dig into my wishlist, I do wish they offered an "AlienVault-style" endpoint agent to collect logs on desktop/laptop OSes. And maybe a bit more SOAR-style workflows in the regular (non-enterprise) security monitoring and analytics platform, but they have an enterprise SIEM/SOAR product for that. And we can automate a lot with the native scheduled searches and integrations with various collaboration platforms (Slack, etc.) and incident response platforms (PagerDuty, etc.) that our subscription has.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a SIEM and a platform to centralize all logs, metrics, etc. from all our disparate platforms, SaaS apps, internal applications, and cloud environment. It has beyond solved those and the support we get from our account managers is absolutely amazing. Typically you'll see the smaller businesses get ignored by vendors, but not here. We have monthly syncs with our account management team and they're readily available every other day on Slack if we need them. Their education and documentation modules are also outstanding and are free (they don't charge for certifications or introductory knowledge/curriculum courses). It's truly just about everything I wish I had when using more expensive platforms in the past.

Great tool for log processing & data fetching real-time

What do you like best about the product?
1. Centralized dashboard to find logs & errors.
2. Super quick to fetch the relevant data from the logs.
3. Proper documentation & user-friendly as it can be integrated with any application.
4. Support is also very responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Sometimes, it lags in fetching data from custom dashboards.
2. Interface is confusing & messed with an overlap of multiple data cards.
3. Not compatible with all query languages. SQL is a must to use it. It can't support all other languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are a B2C Financial startup, we get loads of data daily. SumoLogic helps us to organise by creating custom dashboards and set alerts for specific key actions. Highly recommended for any growing enterprise.

What do you like best about the product?
Sumo Logic integrations with AWS are really good, these seamless integrations help get the data into Sumo Logic easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sumo Logic is still a new product which needs a lot more exposure in terms of supporting other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Openpath integrations with Sumo Logic needs a feature to be added which is being worked on by the Sumo Logic team.

What do you like best about the product?
Best thing that we experienced was their customer service and their willingness to help us out based on our need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike but it will be helpful to have some more documentation on services that sumo logic offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sumo logic is helping us in ingesting our AWS data and even it's SIEM solution is very helpful from security perspective

What do you like best about the product?
Query writing, Data generation and Accumaleted results. Appropriate reports and Amazed with the result and data generation. It has benefited our entire organisation i strongly recommend SUMO.

NONE By far as i have used it for couple of months and it served best to my purpose.

It help us pulling log records from database, check active status, stastic on user count,etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I discovered while using Sumo Logic is that it's a powerful aggregator for all our logs! It allows you don't make your bicycle and access the logs to recover some data after many years.
What do you dislike about the product?
A big problem for me is that it's tough to remember all source categories to search our systems. So let's consider how to make bookmarking easier for juniors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sumo allows accessing logs data after a lot of time

What do you like best about the product?
One central location to find logs, errors, and view custom dashboards. I really like the App Catalog and the pre-made dashboards/saved searches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding stuff like scheduled searches isn't intuitive but lots of documenation available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sumo Logic helps solve how we identify problems and monitor our cloud infrastructure.

SOC Team I Lead has been managing SOAR since 2018 with incredible feedback and enhancement in Security Managed Services for our customers and our infrastructure, tooo!
What do you dislike about the product?
Really, dunno. I've to think about it. Support is awesome andwith R&D department interactions are extremely fruitful, too. Now we look forward to new brand version.
