Unreal review 2021
What do you like best about the product?
The easy use of the software. Easy to make video games that require programming without being experience in programming.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to correctly scale object from other software , this require tweaking in unreal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When working on my msc project, unreal helped with making programming easy through allowing me to concentrate on making the project visually realistic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I fully recommend using unreal engine as it the best form to develop realistic quality games for either pc or VR , I’ve been using for the last 4 years since moving from unity.

Great, Fast and super easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Unreal helped me to move inside my scene and make my 3Ds comes to life, with its fast rendering and environment.
if you have a model you simply just bring it easily to unreal engine and start to make your own scene it's very easy to texture, move, and just like a play with your character move it and made your own game and develop different things from scratch just like UV mapping and materials, Skelton whatever you like you look for in 3D engine and it's a very good and help you to make your 3D life easier Especially when you want to make your own environment and if you think it just to add grass or trees or buildings or whatever add-on it will calculate it at zero minutes and it's so fast that takes no time and no loading on your PC it just makes everything simple and easy
you can add whatever you want to the scene.
the most important part it's free you can download it simply from the epic market with a story full of assets that will help you to build your project, all you need is to install it and simply start drag and drop the assets into the scene.
don't hesitate just go for it and start building your projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Open-source, simple, vide variety of game designs, supports models from all types of 3d modelling software. Just need to build the concept using blueprint mapping. supports all design types from 1st person to 3rd person or racing or virtual reality or any other thing. This is also a great tool for good rendering results. Some small VR experience or a very detailed map of PUBG is matter simple for this game engine to handle. (PS: legendary famous game PUBG was designed on UE only). Blue print editor helps in designing the program without any coding knowledge, all you have to do is logic building with the help of "visible" logic editor or builder. Plus backed up support by lot many users.

User interface can not be changed from dark mode (or theme).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to design a VR experience for a client. And Unreal Engine form EPIC games nailed without much of experience.

The Most Unreal Experience Ever
What do you like best about the product?
Unreal or Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) is the single most best Game Development software tool o have ever used. I am rarely new to coding so the blueprint option is just amazing for a beginner like me. The tutorials that are included are perfect for new comers and easy to understand. tbe lighting look absolutely ground breaking and the graphics are just astonishing. Also the amount of free content provided is just basically over the top for project drafts. Many pre-made projects or starter projects are available to continue from when choosing which game you want to develop. All in all it is the best free engine I have ever used.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Unreal Engine that I have seen so far. Nothing but greatness is all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unreal Engine helps beginners with an easy way of developing games with the newly added blueprint system for free. Would definitely recommend to others.

What do you like best about the product?
The blueprint program is very fast once you understand the logic and it's easy suitable for people who doesn't know coding language at all (but is much easier if you know coding logic). The material quality and construction is not so difficult. The plugin, static contents and other item that regularly epic release for free.
What do you dislike about the product?
The building of complex UI is not so easy (especially the anchor point) and for complex function the blueprint could became a mess; the correct strategy is to comment and build a macro for reduce the main blueprint. With a very big function, retrieving the correct point to modify and adding some new functionality could easily became a time consumption operation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build 3d scenario for virtual reality in aerospace industry, from orbiting to ground.

Unreal Engine guarantee a very good result in terms of qality, but you need a good level of pc performance. There are tons of material the you should use to fast the learning process. At the end of the day, once you build your level structure, the results are very professional grade.

It allows me to design and create games in a fairly simple and easy way since it is not necessary for me to know complex algorithms or a highly sophisticated programming language to make quite entertaining and striking video games in a simple and practical way, in addition to that its interface is quite simple and easy to understand, which greatly simplifies the duration of the development of a video game.

Unreal is an open platform that allows you the freedom to work however you’d like. The possibilities are seemingly endless and adaptable to many production workflows.

Unreal has a steep learning curve that takes some effort. It is very hardware dependent and requires a significant amount of IT oversight.

Real time design and realizing those designs, rendered in real time. Presentation takes on a whole new form, based on your needs with seemingly limitless possibilities.

Material editor is the best I’ve used! It’s powerful, flexible, and enables artists to do things no other engine does.

Sometimes features (like bokeh DOF) are deprecated with little warning or a suitable replacement. UE4’ is ever evolving.
