Easy to use but not sure it's necessary these days
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is very easy to use, which I did quite frequently in the recent past. These days, with Google Drive, Teams, and other collaboration platforms, we don't use it nearly as often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot to dislike, just don't use it as much as we used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes file sharing very easy, particularly large files.
Solid storage and easily share-able but pretty pricey...
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Dropbox is a fairly universal and understood platform. It is easy to use and I've never questioned the reliability. It stores the files and I have confidence they will be there when I need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost and download speeds if it's a lot of data or larger files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared data for video edit/motion graphics/visual effects small-scale projects.
Perfect entry-sized storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Clean interface. File recovery was great with the changes of the file history allowing you to revert to previous versions. Third party integrations include a list of popular tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited to 2GB and is relatively limited compared to its competitor Google Drive. Would love a native office suite for creation of files within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File sharing with clients and coworkers is easy. Controling the read/write settings. The file versioning is a nice feature.
Great alternative to Google Drive
What do you like best about the product?
I really love the UI of the web application. It also has comparable features to Google Drive with the desktop sync client. Features like offline-only, selective directory sync, automatic directory backups (like Documents, Downloads, and Desktop), robust sharing options, right click context menu actions, and visible file indicators of the status of each file.
The mobile, desktop, and web apps are really easy to use, intuitive to get going with, and the support from Dropbox is pretty solid. It also has a nice backup of its backup feature that helps when someone, like myself, accidentally makes wholesale directory changes that accidentally delete a lot of files I still needed for home use.

What do you dislike about the product?
I live in a Google ecosystem for work and home, so it is just an extra expense I don't need when I can get similar features from Drive. The desktop client can also be a resource hog, more so than the linked Drive client. At least in my experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has been a great tool for collaboration with other musicians. While I used it for file storage for work as well, it has been a great way to share tracks and remove rights seamlessly when I am done recording. That was the reason I initially got Dropbox 18 years ago, and it is still an easy feature to implement. Especially since you don't need to have your own Dropbox account to consume the content or add it to the shared folder. Or at least a paid one.
Reliable cloud storage with easy access
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate it, user-friendly interface, and seamless file synchronization across all my devices

The limited free storage and occasional sinking issues can be frustrating

Dropbox simplify file, sharing a remote collaboration, making it easy to access and share documents from anywhere which improves productivity and insurance. My files are always organized and secure.
Good solution for large file transfers
What do you like best about the product?
Pretty easy to use - even with the free version. A lot of people use Dropbox as an alternative to other file sharing solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes getting linked to another Dropbox is more cumbersome than it needs to be. Dropbox prides their security, so it takes a few more hoops to jump through to access files sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it to share and review artwork tasks. Having the ability to review artwork and leave annotations/feedback has been very helpful.
Convenient Cloud Storage with Room for Mobile Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes it incredibly easy to access my files from anywhere, whether I'm on my computer, tablet, or another device. The ability to sync and share documents across platforms is seamless and reliable, which is especially helpful for work on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
One major limitation is that I can’t attach files directly from Dropbox when sending an email from my phone. This slows down mobile productivity and forces me to download files before attaching them, which adds extra steps.

A Reliable and Secure Solution for Storing and Sharing Critical Information
What do you like best about the product?
As a software development company, we rely heavily on Dropbox to securely store and share our most important documentation, project files, and internal resources. The platform’s simplicity, synchronization across devices, and file version history have made it an essential part of our daily operations. It’s especially valuable for collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders in a seamless and controlled environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While overall very satisfied, we’ve noticed that advanced permission management for shared folders can be a bit limited compared to more enterprise-focused solutions. Additionally, the web interface could be more intuitive when managing large sets of files and permissions.

Dropbox helps us solve the challenge of securely storing and sharing sensitive project data across distributed teams. It ensures everyone has access to the latest files, maintains version history, and simplifies collaboration—ultimately improving our efficiency and reducing the risk of data loss or miscommunication.
Simple Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to connect accounts with Dropbox, and selecting individuals to share documents with. It is also easier to share large files with Dropbox, than other similar programs/software I have used in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still implementing Dropbox, but have found no issues or drawbacks so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've had difficulty with sharing larger files with other services in the past. Dropbox does not seem to have any issues with uploads, transfers or sharing.
The most best and secured to store all your necessary documents in one place!
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Dropbox is that it's a super smooth process of uploading all the documents and easy synchronization of files across devices, and an assured backup.

The pricing of premium features of Dropbox is high and that's what I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I keep all my necessary files and documents stored in Dropbox so I can share and use it on another platforms too.
