No-code environment enables seamless application creation and modernizes systems

  • April 25, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I worked for a client that was a bank, UBS. My responsibilities involved resolving application bugs, translating documents for Unqork, creating integrations, interfaces, workflows, and data flows.

What is most valuable?

The platform is a no-code environment, making it easy to create applications by dragging and dropping components. It allows easy workflow creation and integrates with external resources through API components, benefiting financial services and modernizing legacy systems.

What needs improvement?

Unqork could benefit from allowing more flexibility in creating projects and extending them to other languages like JavaScript, Angular, or React. While I understand the limitations of SaaS, such an option would be useful.

For how long have I used the solution?

I worked with Unqork for two years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

Deploying new features and resolving bugs was straightforward. By accessing Unqork's administration part, I could transfer modules between development environments in about ten minutes.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is stable. However, performance may suffer with complex projects, leading to delays. Although stable, these delays can affect user experience during transactions due to multiple API connections.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Unqork is scalable, with an ease of connecting through APIs. However, ensuring scalability requires following specific steps, or it might be compromised.

How are customer service and support?

Although I didn't interact directly with customer support, I found their community and documentation very helpful, providing detailed guidance on various tasks.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before Unqork, I worked with Siebel from Oracle, a CRM. Unqork is easier to work with due to its no-code platform.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of Unqork was straightforward, especially for creating user interfaces. It doesn't require configuring screen sizes, making it accessible on different devices easily.

What about the implementation team?

An additional team is not needed unless the project is large. In such cases, having developers and a cloud team focused on API development is beneficial.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Unqork as an eight out of ten. I appreciate its low-code development features and ease of use, despite some performance issues and limited flexibility.

Enables faster development cycles with no-code cloud solutions

  • April 25, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I was using Unqork for a fintech company where we were building their system, like from the home page, to the login page, and then back to the home page. It streamlined operations, especially in connecting to databases and handling frontend security concerns without writing code.

What is most valuable?

Unqork's no-code platform supports Platform as a Service. It includes built-in templates and systems, providing a fast service that allows a single person to handle tasks that would otherwise require several developers. The system's inherent security and ease of use in creating cloud solutions without code greatly enhance efficiency. It runs on the cloud base, fully leveraging partnerships with AWS, and supports temporary databases for testing. The platform drastically minimizes the lines of code required, significantly speeding up the development cycle.

What needs improvement?

Utilizing Unqork's system for global libraries could enhance efficiency. Currently, developers create separate libraries, which complicates understanding and use. Additionally, integrating Unqork with some third-party systems, like Salesforce, is difficult. Improvements in these areas could greatly enhance its usability.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Unqork for around two years.

What was my experience with deployment of the solution?

In terms of setup, once an account is registered with Unqork, it becomes easy to use. It does not require significant maintenance. Even a new developer can handle client setups.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Unqork offers good security compliance with standards like SOC2 and HIPAA. However, there were some difficulties integrating it with ServiceNow and Salesforce. Connection with legacy systems and third-party APIs is generally easy.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Unqork is fully cloud-based and can utilize services from AWS, ensuring data availability across different databases. Healthcare and fintech industries are beginning to recognize its efficacy. Its cloud infrastructure simplifies global access to data and services without the fear of losing data.

How are customer service and support?

When I had questions or encountered issues, support usually resolved them within 24 hours. I would rate the technical support at eight out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Besides Unqork, I have used Appian, Outsystems, and Mendix.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup requires just an account registration. If the organization is registered, it simplifies the process significantly.

What about the implementation team?

A team of four to five developers, alongside a manager, worked with Unqork on the projects.

What was our ROI?

In terms of ROI, while specific numbers are not provided, two to three projects saw a twenty to thirty percent reduction in workload, indicating a profitable pricing structure.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Specific details on pricing and licensing are unknown, but buying licenses for multiple teams can become costly.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

In the no-code space, I have used and evaluated Outsystems and Mendix.

What other advice do I have?

Overall, I would rate Unqork an eight out of ten. It's a promising new technology, and while gaining expertise in it can be challenging due to its novelty, it offers great opportunities for those willing to take the plunge. The goal should be to simplify processes further and encourage experienced professionals in Unqork. I rate the overall solution eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Public Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Streamlines operations by automating processes across departments

  • February 14, 2025
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

I use Unqork for New York Life Insurance for the admin part, especially for the tertiary operations. It streamlines operations by automating the process across various departments, allowing cash requests to be raised, reviewed, and approved more efficiently.

What is most valuable?

Unqork is a low-code, no-code platform that is easy to use compared to traditional development. It allows for quick development of forms and performs well due to built-in technologies such as Angular. It uses MongoDB as a backend, which eliminates the need for a separate database. The same platform also includes UI parts and APIs which improve performance through easier handshaking. It streamlines operations by automating the process across various departments, allowing cash requests to be raised, reviewed, and approved more efficiently.

What needs improvement?

Currently, Unqork has introduced the Vega compiler for better performance, alongside new components. It would be beneficial if they further improved compatibility with both the previous Sencha compiler and the new Vega compiler.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used the solution for one and a half years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I find the platform stable and have not encountered performance or stability issues.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Unqork is scalable. It uses MongoDB for its backend, and scalability features like UI and APIs are all available within the same platform, making it easy to handle increased demands.

How are customer service and support?

I experienced issues with the advanced data grid and received guidance from the Unqork community, which helped integrate features like colored status indicators using JavaScript. Although challenging, their support was helpful.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have worked with AEM Adobe Experience Manager. Unqork is easier to configure compared to AEM.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is straightforward if well planned at the architectural level. It is important to consider performance aspects, like schema design and API handling, to avoid any potential issues.

What was our ROI?

Unqork is cost-effective. The platform provides default workspaces, and managing or increasing space is easier compared to other platforms.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I completed some training and certifications for Unqork, which cost $2000.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I have a little bit of experience with OutSystems.

What other advice do I have?

I recommend Unqork for projects with minimum access requirements. For more complex needs with multiple relational data, it is better to use external APIs to manage performance. I rate the overall solution a nine out of ten.
