Vanta has made our compliance journey much more efficient by centralizing evidence collection, policy management, and compliance tracking in a single platform. The automated integrations and continuous monitoring save significant time and help us stay audit-ready while reducing manual effort.

What do you dislike about the product?

While Vanta is easy to use overall, some integrations and compliance workflows can require manual adjustments to align with specific organizational needs. Additional flexibility in reporting and customization would further enhance the user experience. Overall, the benefits outweigh these limitations.

Vanta helps solve the challenge of managing compliance programs efficiently by automating evidence collection, tracking control effectiveness, and centralizing compliance activities in a single platform. This has reduced manual effort, improved audit readiness, increased visibility into risks and controls, and enabled our team to focus more on strategic security and compliance initiatives rather than administrative task

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Vanta has a great AI assistant explaining everything. Its automated evidence collections and the ability to connect with all our vendors are also impressive. It's easy to see what is needed to be done to be compliant. The tool removes a lot of friction from the complex compliance process. The initial setup was super easy and very intuitive.

What do you dislike about the product?

I recall the MCP being somewhat limited. Agents can view a lot of things but they can't act enough.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vanta helps with creating and tracking policies, gathering compliance evidence, and auditing access control and trainings. I like its AI assistant, automated evidence collection, and vendor integration, which simplify a complex compliance process.

The Vanta Agent has been a huge help for us startups that are new to compliance.

I remember the platform feeling extremely overwhelming at first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vanta makes it possible for us, a 7 month old startup to finish our ISO cert, helping us land our first enterprise contract

Vanta has made it much easier for us to manage compliance and security tasks in one place . automated evidence collection , continous monitoring and the built in reporting save a lot of manual effort . the platform performs well and the dashboard is easy to follow and the AI features are useful for handling repetitive compliance work . the onboarding process is also smooth and customer support team has been helpful whenever we needed assistance.

What do you dislike about the product?

The pricing can be a little high , especially for smaller teams . some advanced settings also take time to understand when you first start using them . apart from that the overall performance has been reliable .

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vanta helps us automate evidence collection and monitor security controls and also in managing risks and it also make us stay prepared for audits, I like the features like automated questionnaires , acces reviews , vendor risk management and policy tracking have redued manual work and made our compliance process much more organised.

What do you like best about the product?

My network partners are constantly asking to buy new CRM add-ons or marketing tools to close policies faster. Seeing a vendor's actual security posture at a glance stops my team from signing blind contracts with risky software companies.

What do you dislike about the product?

Legacy insurance software providers are incredibly stubborn and routinely ignore the automated questionnaire emails entirely. My operations desk still wastes hours on the phone trying to convince an ancient tech vendor to upload a basic data privacy document.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Handling sensitive policyholder data means a single leak from a third-party app could completely destroy our reputation. The active risk dashboard proves to regulators that we strictly vet every external partner, saving us from devastating compliance fines.

What do you like best about the product?

For 3yrs now,Vanta has delivered on its promise to make SOC 2compliance simple instead of overwhelming.I like that it gives us a centralised source of truth and an easy roadmap to follow,making what could be a months long headache into a straightforward workflow.Also much appreciated it’s deep integration with our other tools which allow automatic and continuous monitoring of with almost zero manual effort needed.

At times notifications are many though they are helpful and pricing is a bit higher

I have been using Vanta to speed up our compliance tasks and it delivers 10/10.It has deep integration with our other tools and ensure accurate,continuous monitoring of our systems.It’s also very easy to manage without needing extensive technical skills.

I like how Vanta is easy to use and reliable in providing accurate and informative responses to tricky security and technical questions. It saves me a significant amount of time and boosts my confidence in completing the security questionnaires properly. The initial setup was very easy as well, as we just had to link our content.

I wish Vanta could work with dropdowns in documents like Excel or Google Sheets and automatically pick the right option based on the answer, such as 'yes', 'no', or 'in future'.

I use Vanta for security questionnaires, providing accurate responses to tricky questions. It saves me time, ensures reliability, and boosts my confidence in completing the questionnaires.

Reporting from Vanta is not available on our product/subscription, which complicates project reporting during an compliance implementation project.

Tracking and automating compliance requirements is a major benefit - doing this manually is not feasible

What I like most is that it helps speed up sales deals with clients. It reduces engineering hours and still delivers fine work.

I’ve been using Vanta personally for over a month, and I haven’t had any issues with it so far.

The main problem I dealt with was that engineers were constantly being pulled away to verify laptops and handle security-related checks. However, Vanta’s pre built AI evidence collection helped a lot in reducing the manual work and stress.

Vanta has made our compliance process much easier to manage . it automatically collects a lot of the evidence we need and keeps everything organized , which saves our team a lot of manual work . the platform is also fast and the dashboard is easy to understand .

the pricing is probably the biggest downside , especially for startups and smaller teams . a few advanced features also take some time to get familiar with , but overall the platform has been stable .
