A Solid Tool for SOC2 Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is very easy to use and is quite affordable for achieving and maintaining SOC2 compliance. The support staff is helpful and responsive, and the integrations available are easy and maintainable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta lacks integrations today for many common tools, including Zoom and Box. That means there's no easy way to keep track of these things regarding SOC2 policy compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is allowing us to be SOC2 compliant, a key requirement many customers need in order to sign with us.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy for us to get on the right track when striving to comply with various standards and legislation.
What do you dislike about the product?
While an excellent platform, Vanta does change quite a bit often so you have to learn and adapt while you are using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes it easy for us to maintain an active inventory of endpoints and infrastructure. Furthermore, managing vendors becomes easy with Vanta. And lastly, Vanta keeps us on the right track when it comes to compliance.
Climb the certification mountain with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
They have a simple tool to track your level of completion in to acheive certification. This helped us stay movitivated. Every 1% increase kept us going and gave us a sense of progress along the way. The platform is ieasy to use and gave us almost 100% of what we need to get ISO certified. a few small things missing that might have just been the interpretation of the auditors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing was good as an early-stage company, but I'm concerned about the pricing in years 2 and 3 if we are not large enough to absorb the significant increase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Acheiving Security certification standards and managing our ongoing compliance with standards to maintain secure systems.

Nothing so far - I cannot say anything I dislike while using the product to date.

Compliance is very extensive and complex, and therefore can be overwhelming. Vanta solves this problem for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is great for a few reasons:
1. They have integrations (e.g. AWS, Gitlab, Linear) that automate a lot of compliance
2. They have a dashboard with every task you need to complete and you can assign owners
3. Their implementation manager / customer support is top notch

What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside I could mention is that there are some aspects of their UX that could be smoother. Lots of clicking back and forth on their dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to get SOC2 certified. Vanta is automating this process and making it simpler. Without a tool like Vanta I have no idea how long it would take us to get everything done.
Vanta: Helpful and Useful
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta offers hundreds of easily accessible tools for meeting HIPAA compliance. They also provide hands-on help from representatives with challenges in meeting compliance goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta has numerous resources to help new users onboard with their product, however a lot of those resources are outdated, and don't match the current Vanta layout, making it a little harder to find what you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping us meet HIPAA compliance. Since there are so many requirements for meeting HIPAA compliance, it's easy to lose track of what needs to be done. Vanta helps us prioritize those compliance requirements promptly and provides many helpful resources.
Huge time saver
What do you like best about the product?
After the initial setup and integration of all of our services, Vanta saved us hundreds of hours compared to our audits from previous years. The service just continues to streamline our security management processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing negative to share about the vanta platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps my team coordinate security management issues across dozens of services and processes and centralizes what, how and when our team needs to respond to new and evolving security issues in order to stay SOC2 compliant.
Experts Make Process Smoother
What do you like best about the product?
They are the experts in this area and that makes everything run so much more smoothly on our end. I can't imagine going through compliance without the experts from Vanta walking us through each step in detail and teach us so much along the way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the only downside is just cost. It's a huge investment, but we have found it to be totally worth it for our company. Other companies I imagine might struggle to pony up this much but if you can, go with Vanta.

Our customers want to know their data is secure. We can't just tell him ourselves that everything will be okay, we need to certification of an outside source. Vanta makes that process much more smooth than we could have ever expected.

Vanta is very structured in its nature about what you need to do to get your compliance program in place.

It can be a little pricy for young startups

It houses our SOC2 certification needs all in one place. Their support staff is very helpful.

There are many bugs and glitches and the UX is not very intuitive.

Vanta is helping us house our SOC2 Certification requirements. We're able to be a more secure company.
