Powerful for Managing Many Projects, but Too Complicated and Not Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I'm able to manage multiple projects and a lot of different people as well as tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a very complicated platform and not very intuitive. It's very easy to mess up tasks, assignees, etc... There are videos online but often times they are not helpful and usually deal with extremely complicated problems rather than simple projects. The AI is also not intuitive and often does not understand what I am trying to perform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing what everyone else is working on, making projects dependent on completions from others
Asana Keeps Our Remote Team Organized and Aligned Across Time Zones
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me keep everything organized and moving, especially when working with a fully remote team across multiple time zones. It’s our single source of truth, and it makes it easy for the team to find what they’re looking for without digging around. I also love the dependency features, along with subtasks and milestones, because they help us coordinate work and stay aligned while working asynchronously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that when I have recurring tasks with subtasks, any overdue subtasks keep popping back up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been a big help for our new product development projects. It lets the entire team work together in a single project, which keeps everyone aligned and helps move the work forward. We’ve also connected it with Claude and Slack, and now weekly updates are automatically sent to Slack as well.
Clean, Efficient UI That Shows What You Need
What do you like best about the product?
the ui is quite clean and efficient, one of the few similar systems where you can see what you need to see
What do you dislike about the product?
it's just not Jira, is it? nothing too bad, but you'll never convince a larger org to use it fully so systems get fragmented

Asana Keeps Our Tasks on Track with Clear Deadlines and Traceability
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is how it helps me stay in control and maintain better traceability across my internal processes. It makes it easier to track the status of my tasks and assign them to team members with clear deadlines.
Overall, it keeps everything on my radar and helps me avoid forgetting important tasks that can sometimes get pushed aside in the middle of day-to-day work.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think the assignment of rules to subtasks could be improved to better automate processes. At the moment, this isn’t possible, but it would be a very interesting feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Traceability, improved team performance, and the elimination of downtime. This enhances both my productivity and that of the team, as everyone clearly understands their role within each workflow.
Thorough Project Tracking That Makes Collaboration Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Thorough, makes it easy to collaborate and communicate, track projects over time

Sometimes it can be cluttered with complex projects and so much going on, notifications can easily be lost

Helping work with external partners outside of my organization, helps remind me how to prioritize timely and most important tasks
Great Organization and Customizable Projects
What do you like best about the product?
The organization and the customization of the different projects
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could assign more than one person to a project - you can get around this by having subtasks so not that big of a deal.

I love that we can take an idea or a topic and clearly organize it within Asana - break down big tasks into actionable items as well as have recurring roles assigned.

The application sometimes has issues, and I wish i can separate by tasks that I have created rather than the projects

Asana’s Customizable Setup Keeps Me Organized and On Task
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is completely customizable for any organization. I've used it at 2 different organizations and seen it implemented in 2 very different ways. However, I appreciate how it keeps me on task, allows me to see all the things I need to do in one place, and create custom boards I use for ideation project manage non-creative tasks on my own.
What do you dislike about the product?
If not set up correctly or not adjusted based on team growth, it can get clunky.

Organization. Project tracking. Task assignment.
Perfect Project Hub with Seamless Google Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is a central project management tool for multiple parts of the business. It's a hub that allows multiple users to connect centrally and keep an eye on all the projects and tasks we're working on as the agency for multiple clients. I appreciate the new AI features and how they're helping us streamline workflows. The integration with Google Drive is also a big plus since we run the rest of the business on Google Workspace. The initial setup was really simple, and this made the transition smoother for us.

Nothing yet, we're newbies but we’re putting it through its paces already!

Asana acts as a central hub, helping multiple users connect and oversee all project and task updates. The AI features streamline our workflows, enhancing productivity.
Efficient Task Management, but Overwhelming Notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I like the 'My Tasks' feature because it helps me start each day by clearly seeing what work is outstanding, understanding what the deadlines are, and knowing what's expected of me. I also find the AI capabilities for summarizing projects quite interesting as it saves me time by providing a high-level overview without needing to sort through all the individual tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just a lot of notifications, but I just learned on the training how to manage those notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to manage deadlines and tasks efficiently. The 'My Tasks' feature helps me track outstanding work and deadlines daily, and AI capabilities for summarizing projects save me time by providing a high-level overview.
