What do you like best about the product?
I like using Asana for managing projects, especially the month-end close checklists, which help us stay on top of things. Tagging others is a feature I really like because it enhances collaboration and makes communication seamless. I also found the initial setup of Asana to be very easy.

Nothing

Love the Dashboard and Plug-Ins for Turning Meetings into Tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I love the dashboard and the connected plug-ins that let me create tasks based on recorded meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could customize my dashboard even more. It would be great to have an AI integration that lets me simply describe what I want and have it set up accordingly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to track all my tasks.
Clear Visuals, Strong Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the clear visuals for every task and the ability to schedule with a global project calendar. Assigning tasks helps us focus and understand everyone's responsibilities. I appreciate task assignments, dependencies, and milestone messaging as they help track and review projects, plus plan the workload ahead. Using Asana AI has also been a huge help in refining our project templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've been using the Asana AI a lot more often when creating tasks in bulk, but we would like to see sub-tasks to be part of the Asana AI toolset. We have tried using Asana with Slack, but it does have a bigger learning curve for most of our staff on the team, so we don't use it as much or not at all. At first, it was a bit hard to get the team to understand how Asana works, which led us to conduct training using Asana videos on YouTube.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to organize AV projects into sections and tasks, assign resources, track progress, and maintain a historical knowledge base with dependencies. It offers clear task visuals, scheduling, and a project calendar. Task assignments and dependencies help focus our team and manage workload effectively.
Asana: Intuitive Project Management with Efficient Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the automations in Asana. It's great that when I click a task, my follow-up tasks and needs are already lined up, created, and identified. I don't have to think about it, which makes it very intuitive. The user interface is also very efficient and doesn't load slow, which helps in maintaining ease and efficiency when completing projects. I like the clear ability to review tasks and deadlines and the work through automations, which truly enhances the whole experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app could be better. The notifications could be improved, specifically task notifications could work more like Apple reminders, allowing me to check tasks individually without opening the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides ease and efficiency in completing projects, with a clear ability to review tasks and deadlines through an efficient user interface. The automations are intuitive, lining up tasks and needs so I don't have to think about them.
Effective for Freelance Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the Board View works best for me and my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use a form and automation. The pricing was confusing at first but it got sorted out already.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project and time management, and the Board View works best for me and my clients.
Versatile Tool for Marketing Campaign Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can set up projects exactly how they need to be set up with rules and using Asana's AI. Each project and each team prefers their projects a certain way, so I can curate and design each board to fit their specific needs with the fields and the rules. Asana's rules and AI are helpful when I need assistance on more intricate workflows, allowing me to curate workflows exactly how each person wants them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issues with the multi-select option. Sometimes it gets a bit more difficult when I have a rule set up that depends on a multi-select field. The rule can run multiple times, which becomes problematic when the action of the rule updates each time that field gets changed, compared to when it's a single select.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps stakeholders involved, tracks when tasks are due, ensuring we stay on track with projects. It keeps requesters and submitters informed on ticket statuses.
Streamlined Task Management with Customizable Automations
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana for both my personal and work task management. I love the rules and automations you can build in, especially now that we can duplicate and shift around rules. These features help with auto-assignments and ensure that tasks aren't left unattended when they should be addressed. It's really helpful to be able to assign a rule to repetitive tasks to take care of them for me. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, even though it started as something pretty bare bones, it has evolved over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't love the small visual tweaks and improvements they're trying to make. Now it's harder to add my project that a task should be added to. It looks too similar to adding a subtask.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana organizes everything cleanly, saves me time daily, and its rules and automations ensure tasks aren't overlooked, automating repetitive assignments.
Boosts Project Management with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to assign projects and organize tasks with Asana. The ability to section things off is helpful, and I can create projects for different needs, like ecommerce and client communications, separately.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to view sub-tasks in projects and portfolios. I also wish you could assign more than one person to a task as an assignee. Another thing is that I wish there was an option for loose deadlines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps keep projects organized across multiple clients and makes assigning tasks easier and more efficient.
Intuitive UI and Great Collaboration, but Setup Can Be Time-Consuming
What do you like best about the product?
I like the UI; it's very nice and polished, which makes it easy to use. The collaboration between teammates is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can subtly point you towards bad/messy data types. Offering guidance on how to model different custom fields would be great. The initial setup took a lot of time, but we figured it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management and accounting. It tracks campaigns we run and dollar amounts tied to campaigns and deliverables.
Easy Task Tracking and Team Communication with Great Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Great integration options, quick and easy to add and update tasks, and plenty of functionality to track tasks and communicate with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve when onboarding, but they offer support and you just need some time to learn what all you can do and how to navigate through it. Pricing is decent for a small business, but can get pricey as you start to add members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task tracking and client deliverables - the team can see what's been completed, the time spent on each task, and connect to resources.
