Versatile Document Generation Options for Every Scenario
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of options that Conga CLM provides for generating and sending documents is what I like, as for different scenarios, you can use different processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
With large documents, Conga CLM sometimes becomes slow, and that frustrates us as we require quick generation and processing of documents for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga CLM solves major contract-management challenges like slow manual drafting, scattered files, inconsistent terms, risky version control, and lack of visibility across contract stages. It centralizes all contracts, templates, and clause libraries in one system, automates workflows for drafting-to-signature, and integrates deeply with platforms like Salesforce to eliminate manual data entry. As a result, users benefit from faster deal cycles, fewer legal risks, better compliance, improved collaboration between sales, legal, and procurement, and full visibility into contract status, obligations, and renewals—ultimately improving revenue speed and operational efficiency.
Seamless Workflow and Integrations, but Template Deployment Needs Improvement

The ease of use for the user and its integrations with Conga approvals and Conga CPQ make the E2E workflow seamless

The deployment involved for templates is a process which can be improved for admins
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The contract generation process for our users which involves faster quoting to customers.
Streamlines Contract Management, But X-author Error Handling Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM streamlines the contract process throughout the contract lifecycle, covering contract creation, negotiation, and tracking. By centralizing contract data, it helps minimize risks and errors during contract execution and supports compliance. Its flexible customization options, built on top of standard workflows, enable businesses to accelerate revenue. The solution is user-friendly, straightforward to implement, and is backed by excellent customer service and after-sales support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The error handling in X-author for Contracts could be improved to provide more specific error messages, rather than just displaying a generic statement like 'An error has occurred. Please contact Conga Administrator.' This can be quite frustrating at times. Additionally, the X-author Migration Manager tool could use some enhancements, as it occasionally stops working for the same set of data, even though it usually functions as expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga CLM is beneficial for businesses with scattered processes that involve multiple teams throughout the contract lifecycle. It has helped us streamline our contract workflows and processes, enhance compliance, and achieve greater visibility into our operations. Since most of our contract and user data is stored in Salesforce, we needed a solution that integrates seamlessly with it, and Conga CLM fits this requirement perfectly. It has also improved collaboration and the overall customer experience for our Salesforce users.
Seamless Contract Generation and eSign Directly from CRM
What do you like best about the product?
It enables contract generation directly from CRM and supports native eSign, Contract Creation & Analytics. Offers functionalities like version comparisons, redlining and complete contract histories.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes contract templates gets corrupted and difficult to restore it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best thing is about to boost productivity and integrations. also making contracting process standardized.
Amazing pruduct Conga CLM
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM has really helped us bring structure to our contract process. It’s reliable, fast, and simple to manage inside Salesforce. We’ve been using Conga for a few years now, and it continues to deliver great value. Their support and account teams are very professional and approachable.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI customization could be a bit more flexible. Like, we can not customize UI for send for review page. Advanced automation features can take some extra setup time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What stands out the most for me is the parallel review feature, which has made the contract review process much smoother. It allows multiple parties to review a contract simultaneously without any manual intervention and once the review is complete, the final document is automatically retrieved in the Salesforce agreement which is fantastic.
Excellent Revenue Management and Support, Installation Could Be Smoother

My experience with Conga has been extremely good, they have an excellent suite of revenue management products and excellent support

The installation process would benefit from clearer guidance and could be made easier to complete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga's product helps us respond to changing market dynamics and enables us to provide quick sales quotes to our customers.
Best for Contract Management—User-Friendly with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
It is best for Contract life cycle management, user friendly and easy to implement and great technical support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, they are providing great support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing business templates and life cycle of the contracts and it supports integration with adobe and many other platforms.
Effortless Parallel Reviews and Seamless Salesforce Integration, But Smart Search Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
Conga provides an easier way to accomplish parallel reviews that no other software seems to be able to do. During our busy season many of our users are generating and sending contracts all day with no issues or slow downs which is amazing based on the volume. Works surprisingly well with Salesforce staying within any limits set out by salesforce
What do you dislike about the product?
Smart search does not function as it should. We have had a few teams from Conga review it with little success
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga provides a way for multiple people to review our documents at the same time. This provides a much more seamless process to our Clients and Users. It also uses time efficiently
Versatile Versions and Effortless Environment Management
What do you like best about the product?
X-Author provides multiple versions of itself such as X-Author 1.0 – an executable file, and X-Author Advanced – a cloud-based extension. It also helps you store your multiple environment details in one single file, allowing us to log in to any environment with just a single click.
What do you dislike about the product?
Template formatting-related issues are very hard to debug, and X-Author does not provide or point to any specific component causing this issue, making it very hard for us to resolve such issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously it was difficult for us to manage and migrate templates but with this tool it ease our operations.
Comprehensive Out-of-the-Box Solution for Global Contract Management Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Conga CLM provides out-of-the-box features that address all the essential global use cases for contract management automation making it easier to implement use cases. We can also have Add on features through integration or Customization. The customer support is excellent as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating optimized templates takes some training to master. While the latest user-friendly UI is easier to navigate, it offers only a limited set of features. It's possible to submit IDEA or Feature Requests, but unfortunately, there are no updates provided on their status.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Conga CLM has streamlined our contract management by automating document generation using templates that ensure the correct legal language is applied. The negotiation process is more efficient, simplifying both internal and external discussions. Additionally, the Contract Intelligence feature extracts key information like dates and terms from uploaded documents, helping to minimize human error. Overall, it significantly reduces manual effort and the need for human intervention.
