Ease of fixing vulnerabilities at runtime in memory
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about KernelCare is its light weight agent which run as the utility to fix the vulnerabilities at runtime in memory without the need of rebooting the linux severs. Also KernelCare ePortal has the pach sets caching capability which help in saving bandwidth to download pacthset again and again over the inernet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Umm, ePortal need to be deployed in customer's network and no cloud deployment is supported. If this can be done, it can save lots of management and maintenance efforts on user's part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are evaluating KernelCare to interagte with patching solution to fix the vulnerabilities. It will help us in terms of more vulnerabilities fix coverage and customer satisfaction.

Tool with great potential
What do you like best about the product?
I like KernelCare's ability to apply patch sets to fix the vulnerabilities on Linux machine in memory without the need to reboot the servers. Also this support is available for multiple flavors of the Linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support is now available to host ePortal on cloud as the SaaS application. Also ePortal's API for automation to use need to be improved for some functionality like configuring the patch server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using KernelCare to fix the vulnerabilities and it is benefiting us to maintain the servers security posture with rebooting them.
Amazing tool with in-memory patching capability to fix the vulnerabilities.
What do you like best about the product?
Applying any Kernel patch typically need to reboot the Linux system, however, with KernelCare we can apply the fixes to vulnerabilities in memory by applying the patchsets without rebooting the linux serves. Also KernelCare have small agent which does all this magic.
What do you dislike about the product?
ePortal support REST based interface to interact with it. While there are required APIs, APIs for some other import workflow need to be added. Also ePortal deployment on cloud should be thought of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using KernelCare to fix vulnerabilities and it is benefiting us to apply patches set runtime without rebooring linux servers. By integrating this tool with out patching solutions will provide more customer coverage.
In memory patching tool with support for multiple flavors of Linux
What do you like best about the product?
I like about KernelCare is its light wieght agent which is capable of applying patcheset on linux kernel without asking for reboot of the system. Also it has suport for multiple flavour of Linux to fix its vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it fixes the vulnerabilities in memory by install new kernel image, if system is rebooted and KernelCare agent lose connectivery to Internet, your system is vulnerable again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using KernelCare for evaluating to integrate with patching soolution. It is helping us to target patching those servers which can not offord downtime right at the moment.

I like KernelCare for its ability to apply patcsets as an fixes for CVEs on Linux servers without rebooting them. Also it has support for almost all flavors of the linux.
What do you dislike about the product?
ePortal need to be deployed in private neworks of the customer in current architecture, if it could be hosted in the cloud it will save the management efforts on the customer end.

KernelCare is helping us to apply fixes for vulnerabilites wihout rebooting linux servers. It is helping us in terms of delaying actual Operating system patching to the patching window.

I like KernelCare ability to apply patcsets to fix vulnerabilities on linux servers without asking to reboot these servers. Also, KernelCare agent which runs on the target is light weight utility tool witch good set of command support.
What do you dislike about the product?
ePortal is suggested to deployed on prem in csutomer network. It is not cloud based as of now. If this support will be added it would be a good support. Also ePotal REST APIs need to improved.

KernelCare is solving the problem of fixing vulerabilities for us and it is benifiting us to do that without rebooting the servers.
