Red Hat Enterprise Linux review
What do you like best about the product?
Its hassle-free installation, maintenance and 24x7 Red hats support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I could think of right now is the number of frequent upgrades. Although it is good from the security perspective but sometimes it is a big hassle to have downtime

Safe and Secure OS
What do you like best about the product?
One of the leading Enterprise systems for Linux, it provides stability, scalability and automation. It's not only limited to on-prem but is also cloud-native, meaning it can be deployed on any cloud VM. It provides a secure way of running the apps. We have been running thousands of kubernetes pods on this without any disruption.
What do you dislike about the product?
RHEL is an enterprise edition of Linux. So it might not be adaptable for some small industries looking for an open-source solution. Apart from this I do not see any other downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a safe and secure way to build our Kubernetes platform, whether on-prem or cloud. Considering the vulnerabilities threat, we do not want to use some open source OS. RHEL came to our rescue, and we have been using it as our underlying OS for managing our nodes. At the same time, we were also looking for secure container images and ended up using the RHEL-backed container images.

More performing and secure Linux after the acquisition by IBM
What do you like best about the product?
After the transition to the IBM world, this Linux release has taken on a greater value for use in production, for the more services now guaranteed from one of the most trusted brands in the industry
What do you dislike about the product?
With the latest change of hands between companies, the test distribution, marketed as CentOS, is disappearing with the good peace of developers from all over the world
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the transition to the well-known Armonk brand, they have been merged with the other services they offer extensively, and this is bringing benefits to everyone both from the point of view of product stability and from the point of view of support which is notoriously managed at a high level
