What do you like best about the product?
Very simple and intuitive process to setup and deploy agents to endpoints all over the company. Simple and clear desingn of interface, easy to navigate and find all relevant information. Reduced amount of time I have spent of manually updating particular workstations and gives a better control over vulnerabilities detected and patching them. Policy sets and rules to determine what updates to pick, what to skip are very good. Generally Im very happy about the idea of having a remote connection to end user desktops. Good solution and so simple to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing except that remote connection takes long time and if user has 2-3 displays its very slow and not so effective when it shows all at once on the main screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control over patching saves so much time and cost, reducing impact on end users (no need to remote to their desktops every time to check version of the software etc). Patching vulnerabilities - improved security and fast reaction to mitigate new threats. Automation of the proces is much simplier than expected.

What do you like best about the product?
The level of streamlining Policies for Compliance. As a part of Cloud cloud-based company, we are highly expected to deliver devices with security and compliance. Automox has made it easier to manage policies as per clients and sends us alerts to monitor non-compliant devices. Reports are easier to avail and can be even presented without much effort

Automox excels in patch management, software updates, and configuration. This reduces the need for manual intervention, saving time. This is implemented to several customers to show our efficient way of Patching and automation which they already love!
We use this software daily to monitor and it is easy to deploy on all servers and user devices

As for now we haven't noted anything to dislike about yet

What do you like best about the product?
As an IT engineer responsible for maintaining endpoint compliance and keeping systems updated with our software and patching standards, I’ve found Automox particularly impressive. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to access the necessary data. Since implementing Automox across multiple client environments, we’ve achieved greater control and a more consistent, up-to-date operating environment. Additionally, the customer support has been outstanding, quickly resolving any issues to minimize downtime and ensure our clients’ environments remain stable and secure

What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have not encountered any issues with using Automox, so nothing I dislike about it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSP with numerous customers, having access to a centralized web portal that provides clear visibility into their environments and patching statistics has significantly enhanced our workflow. It has streamlined our efforts to ensure endpoint security by enabling the rapid installation of critical KBs.

Easy patches, great support

What do you like best about the product?
I truly love the fact that for most setups, it's a 'set it and forget it' platform. We typically set up our patches to "Patch All" and do every available update 1 evening a week. It's easy to notify the users of a standard maintenance window, once a week in the evening, and set the expectation that their computers will be updated and perhaps reboot during that time. It's also nice to have the additional feature of the "Worklet", where I can create a basic script that can run either on a schedule or on demand. For example, we've had computers that will lose the sync to their timezone, so having a script that resets and resyncs the Windows time service is super handy. I don't need to touch their machine, I just click into the worklet, add their device, and within 5 minutes they are writing me to say it's all set!

Every time I've had to reach out to Automox support, they have been super helpful. If they can't provide an easy answer, they seem to go the extra mile and find a way to do what I am looking to do. I've been very impressed with the dedication and knowledge they've brought to my support tickets.

As a fully remote company, with users all over the United States, it makes it so easy to ensure that devices stay updated and compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have too many complaints about Automox, the only one that really stands out is that it doesn't have an option to force stop some programs if they are running. Snagit and Zoom come to mind. I would like the option to notify the user that the sofware is about to be updated, and they have the option to defer or accept. If accepted (or not acknowledged) within 15 minutes the program is force-closed and updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are fully remote, it makes it easy to apply updates and ensure our devices stay compliant. As a HIPAA business associate, we need to complay with fedral regulations and keep our endpoints up to date with the latest patches. We can't do GPO, so Automox is the best choice.

What do you like best about the product?
Automox can be as simple or as complex as you need it to be, and with its robust automation capabilities, it is an excellent option for any company striving to streamline patching and compliance across their workstations.

Overall, Automox is a fantastic endpoint patching and compliance system.m.

The most significant disadvantage of Automox is the cost, especially when scaling up to medium to large enterprise sizes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the age of remote work, Automox is solving the problem of patch management and compliance across workstations that are now scattered across the country.

Automox is user-friendly and capable of handling lots more than just patching.

sometimes we have agent connection issues with our endpoints and have to troubleshoot or reinstall the agents
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we used to havet o patch EVERy server manually. We now have the capability do this this with a click one a button. Makes our lives much easier.

Patching and scheduling is quick and intuitive.

Report generation is not intuitive, took a good amount of time to filter devices in a meaningful way for audit purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
Personally, I like that the team behind Automox did a great job designing the user interface, it is intuitive and user friendly. You get everything you need for the job without excess interface. This helped several of our team members get a proper understanding of both capabilities and limits.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of deploying scripts can be improved. At times, tracking progress and status proved challenging for some members of our team. Locating script logs often proved difficult once we had deployed. We figured out ways to work around it. If anything, was a minor concern from the get go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Automox, we used to spend our time patching servers manually. Now, with the portal configured for automatic patching each month we save time to spend interacting with customers. This has been a game changer for our IT department and our team members are quite relieved with this efficiency.

Configurating Automox took some time to get right according to local needs. Alongside the timezone differences across offices, but once that got sorted our experience has been smooth sailing.

Microsoft releases their patches on the second Tuesday of each month. Thanks to Automox we rapidly install them and keep our servers up to date. Thanks to this service our security profile has improved accross the board.

No sweat updating

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I no longer have to figure out which computers need which updates, Automox does it all for us. It takes the stress out of keeping our computers and network safe. Their customer support has been very helpful when starting our implementation and whenever I have had a question.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I have not liked about Automox at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is keeping all our desktops and servers up to date.
