What do you like best about the product?

I like that Grafana has a good UI that brings dashboards, metrics, and traces together in one place. The performance is good enough for what I need.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike grafana's pricing and also it took me some time to understand and learn it's features and options.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Grafana helps me find performance issues, errors and other application problems without switching between different monitoring tools.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Grafana daily as our central monitoring hub for both infrastructure and model health. We rely on it to track GPU utilization during massive training jobs, monitor inference latency in real-time, and keep a close eye on data drift for our production models. It pulls metrics from Prometheus and our custom databases, giving us a single pane of glass to understand exactly what is happening across our entire machine learning ecosystem without having to dig through raw log files.The flexibility and visual depth Grafana offers are simply unmatched. I can build highly specific dashboards that perfectly fit the needs of my team, whether we are tracking a specific node's memory consumption or visualizing confidence scores from a newly deployed computer vision model. The sheer volume of community plugins means we can connect it to almost any obscure data source we throw at it. On top of that, the alerting system is incredibly reliable. Being able to easily route an alert directly to our team's Slack channel the exact moment a model's error rate spikes has been a massive upgrade for our incident response times.

What do you dislike about the product?

The biggest hurdle with Grafana is the steep learning curve, particularly when it comes to writing complex queries in PromQL or Flux just to get your data to display the way you want. It can be a very frustrating and time-consuming experience for newer engineers who just want to build a simple graph. Furthermore, as our team has grown, managing dashboard versions and user permissions has become surprisingly messy. It is far too easy for someone to accidentally edit a shared dashboard and break a critical operational view, and the rollback process could definitely be smoother. We also occasionally run into annoying compatibility headaches where a third-party plugin we rely on suddenly breaks after a major Grafana version update.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Grafana, we struggled heavily with silent model degradation. We once had a recommendation engine serving stale results for two days because a background data pipeline stalled, but the server itself stayed up so our basic checks entirely missed it. Grafana solved this by allowing us to visualize data freshness and prediction distributions continuously on one screen. Just recently, a custom dashboard alerted us to a severe memory leak in a new deep learning training job within minutes of it starting. We were able to kill the job and patch the code before it exhausted the resources on our shared Kubernetes cluster, which saved the company significant compute costs and prevented a wider outage.

What do you like best about the product?

Grafana Labs delivers strong value through its deep correlation capabilities across metrics, logs, and traces, as well as its flexible data-source architecture.

What do you dislike about the product?

Steep Learning Curve for Non-DevOps Team Members: While creating basic dashboards is fairly accessible, building more complex queries in native languages such as PromQL or LogQL comes with a steep learning curve.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before implementing Grafana Labs, our team struggled with serious observability fragmentation and a high mean time to resolution (MTTR). We were constantly juggling multiple single-purpose monitoring tools—one vendor for metrics, another for centralized logging, and a third for distributed tracing. When a single production incident occurred, the investigation often turned into a manual, time-consuming process: copying timestamps between different UI tabs and trying to line up disparate log outputs with metric spikes.

What do you like best about the product?

We use Grafana to build dashboards for user data, and I’m a big fan of it because it’s both flexible and genuinely useful. It makes it easy to present the information clearly while still giving us plenty of room to tailor the dashboards to what we need.

What do you dislike about the product?

So far, there isn’t anything I dislike about it.

It captures a wide range of data points and presents them in a way that’s clear, useful, and easy to understand.

What do you like best about the product?

I primarily use Grafana when something seems off after a deployment and I want to see what is going on in production. Having all of my application metrics, dashboards, and alerts centralized saves me a lot of time. I love being able to compare current activity to past deployments instead of trying to pinpoint where things went wrong.

What do you dislike about the product?

Dashboards can become cluttered quickly when multiple teams add panels without organizing them. Some queries can also be difficult to construct correctly, especially when working with something new.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helps me see how my application is doing Allows me to discover performance or reliability issues quicker. Rather than spending my time searching through multiple systems, I can spend more time fixing the root problem.

What do you like best about the product?

I really like a most is how seamlessly Grafana lets us pull in metrics, logs, and traces into a single unified dashboard without the screen feeling cluttered. I use the dynamic dashboard variables daily because it lets me instantly toggle between our production and staging environments on the exact same view without having to rebuild multiple panels. The interface is surprisingly smooth when dragging and dropping visualizations, even when we are pulling massive amounts of historical time-series data. One unexpected benefit was discovering their huge community library of pre-built panel templates, which honestly saved me days of manual setup work from scratch.

What do you dislike about the product?

The initial learning curve for writing complex custom queries to set up our advanced alerting rules was definitely a lot steeper than I expected during onboarding. It takes some serious trial and error to get the alert routing and notification thresholds mapped out exactly right, but it makes total sense once you get the hang of the syntax.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before bringing this in, we were basically flying blind during server spikes and manually hunting through raw text logs just to figure out where performance bottlenecks were hiding. Now our entire engineering team has a shared visual workspace where everyone can look at the exact same live graphs simultaneously during an active incident. This has completely transformed our team collaboration because we aren't wasting time arguing about who has the most up-to-date data anymore. Ultimately it saves us countless hours of stressful debugging during late-night outages and helps us make faster decisions to get systems healthy again.

What do you like best about the product?

I like the excellent dashboard and visualizations, which make monitoring data easy to understand. Monitoring is very useful for checking service availability and reachability. I also like being able to monitor uptime, latency, SSL expiry, and service frequency all in one place. It’s easy to spot unusual latency spikes or performance issues, and the flexible time-range selections help when investigating historical incidents.

It supports multiple data sources and integrations, and it provides a strong centralized view of overall system health. This is helpful for proactive monitoring instead of waiting for users to report an issue. The interface presents useful monitoring information in a structured, professional way.

What do you dislike about the product?

The main challenge I experienced was the learning curve. Basic monitoring is relatively straightforward, but advanced dashboards, queries, alerting rules, and admin configurations can become complex.

Some parts of the interface also require familiarity with monitoring concepts, query dashboards, alerts, and advanced metrics.

Additionally, when working with large datasets or long monitoring periods, it can sometimes take extra effort to investigate and understand specific events. Beginners may benefit from more guided workflows and simpler explanations for advanced configurations.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Grafana helps solve the problem of not having clear visibility into application and service performance. Instead of manually checking whether an API or service is working, I can use a monitoring dashboard to quickly understand: is the service currently running, is it reachable, what is the average response time, did the latency suddenly increase, are there any failed checks, and is the SSL certificate approaching expiration.

For example, during monitoring I can immediately spot a sudden latency spike and investigate the specific time period. This reduces troubleshooting time because I no longer need to rely on manual testing or user-reported issues.

Overall, Grafana provides a strong single source of visibility for system health and performance, helping teams identify issues earlier and make more data-driven decisions.

What do you like best about the product?

I like how Grafana Labs makes application data easy to understand with clear dashboards and visualizations. It lets me quickly review performance and key metrics all in one place, without having to jump between different views.

Some of the more advanced features and dashboard configuration options can take a bit of time to fully understand, but the basics are straightforward and easy to get started with.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It brings application metrics and logs together in one place, which makes it easier to spot issues and get a clearer understanding of overall application performance.

What do you like best about the product?

I like most about the grafana labs is that it provides a great visualization about the data and also we can easily integrate with azure monitor, postgresql, and any other log sources.

What do you dislike about the product?

when we are using multiple data sources then it will very complex to configure like when we are collecting different log types like metrices, logs etc then it will be complex to manage.

grafana labs gives us a centralize log monitoring collected from different data sources, it gives us monitoring view of the logs, metrices.

What do you like best about the product?

In my experience, the greatest strength of Grafana Labs is its ability to consolidate infrastructure metrics. With Grafana Labs, I can view server health, application performance, resource consumption, and alerts all on a single dashboard. I get all this information in one place instead of having to switch between different tools. It proved to be incredibly useful when we started using it to monitor our cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.

What do you dislike about the product?

Its flexibility allows for a wide range of capabilities, though this can also make creating dashboards and queries somewhat complex.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Grafana Labs has helped us efficiently monitor our distributed infrastructure. It enables us to quickly identify performance bottlenecks and anomalous resource activity, resolve issues, and keep the team informed about the overall health of our systems. We are able to respond rapidly to incidents and ensure better uptime for our cloud-based services.
