What do you like best about the product?

The API with the Calenco drafting software allows, with one click and without file manipulation, to send the latest version of the files for translation and to retrieve them once translated.

What do you dislike about the product?

The cost of use remains high if dealing with large volumes and the complexity of certain features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Homogeneity of terminology, use machine translation if the translation memory is not sufficient, obvious time saving

I like that I don't have to use external resources because Phrase contains a good spellchecker, termbase, and CAT tool. It makes it easy to manage the whole project in one place and keep the translation consistent and accurate. The initial setup was very easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

The QA section often lists a large number of false positives which cannot always be resolved. It is very lengthy and takes a long time when handling longer files and sometimes won't let me complete the 'Completed' stage.

What do you like best about the product?

I like Phrase for its ease of use and how quickly I can translate documents. It's really convenient that I can access the editor from any browser, no matter where I am. These are the biggest advantages for me. The initial setup of Phrase was extremely easy, and transferring our previous work and translation memories into Phrase went really smoothly. I've been using Phrase for many years, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the segments don't align even when machine translation is activated. There are some glitches from time to time. Not a deal breaker, but they do appear occasionally.

I use Phrase to translate various documents for my clients, including legal, medical, and technical documents. It's easy to use, quickly translates, and the editor is accessible from any browser, which I find to be the biggest advantages.

I think one of the biggest advantages of Phrase is the management of projects, termbases, translation memories and other related materials. With all the structures and user-friendly interface in place, one can focus solely on good-quality, consistent translation.

Extended response time in bigger translation jobs, very poor standalone Phrase desktop app, and price increases.

It solves the matter of managing huge termbases and pretranslating documents - the latter of which is done thanks to an integration of AI translation engines.

Overall, it saves us a considerable amount of time while maintaining high translation quality.

Overall, the platform is very reliable, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Some advanced settings and workflows can be difficult to locate, especially for new users, and certain administrative tasks require more clicks than necessary. It would also be great to see more flexibility in reporting and customization options, as well as continued improvements to performance when working with very large projects. These enhancements would make an already strong platform even more efficient.

Before using Phrase, managing multilingual projects and keeping terminology consistent across multiple languages was much more time-consuming. With Phrase, we can centralize translation memories, glossaries, and project workflows in one platform, making collaboration much more efficient. This has reduced manual work, improved consistency across projects, and significantly shortened turnaround times. As a language service provider, it has helped us deliver high-quality translations faster while minimizing errors and increasing overall productivity.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate the fluidity of the application, its intuitive interface, as well as the ease of access and use of the options located on the left.

What do you dislike about the product?

The options "Filter target" and "Filter source": I don't understand how to use these functions, nor what exactly they are for.

Spelling issues, etc., are corrected thanks to the QA function.

It's easy to use, and so far I haven't noticed any major shortcomings.

It would be helpful to have an option to hide the right-side panel.
