Collaborating on shared templates has streamlined intern reports but still needs richer presets

  • May 07, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I use Notion for scheduling, note taking, and resource managing. I collect links, all interns' resumes, their offer letters, and some other paperwork reports of interns. It is helpful for collecting resources and managing them on the same page. I can share my templates with other teammates or other employees, and they can easily access and edit those templates.

When I need someone to share their reports on the platform, I share my Notion template with my teammates. They open it and add their reports to my Notion template, along with any work-related links or any tasks they have signed up for the next week. They can edit freely. I find this very useful because I do not have to ask them. They simply go to the Notion template link that I share, and every week they send their report and task list of the tasks they have completed or when the activity has finished.

What is most valuable?

I can use any templates from any influencer who has used Notion. I can use their templates freely and customize my own template as well. This is a very helpful feature.

I can access free templates on Notion and find a student resource management or timetable template. I can click and customize it according to my needs. What needs improvement?

Notion could offer more independence in customization or have pre-built templates and more templates that help others. Using a blank sheet and customizing your own template takes a lot of time for a user and sometimes becomes hectic.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Notion since my school days. It has been two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I have not experienced any crashes and downtime.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

I am working on a small project that basically needs team leaders, maybe two to four. I do not think I have ever experienced any scalability issues with Notion. I handle small projects, so I do not have any knowledge of Notion's scalability.

How are customer service and support?

I have never needed to reach out to the team support or customer support for any resources or anything.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I am using the free version of Notion. I do not think I have any price setup and licensing costs.

What other advice do I have?

I think Notion is a good app and it is very useful for students and employees, including organization employees, so they can use it freely. I would rate this product a 7 out of 10.

Effortless Knowledge Management with Notion

  • May 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Notion somewhat easy to use for creating pages, and we have automations in place with Slack. Creating pages that can be archived is useful as it avoids them being lost among other documents. The initial setup of Notion was okay - a little confusing at first.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one thing I noticed recently - it can be difficult to copy/paste items (for example spreadsheets) from one Notion page to another. To simply allow copy/pasting spreadsheets without linking back to the original page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to build knowledge bases for my team and create shareable documents, keeping everything organized and accessible. It's easy to create pages that can be archived and logged without getting lost among other documents.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and intuitive. It’s really good for collaborating in real time with peers, and for keeping everything in one single source of truth.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel overwhelming at times. I wish the pages could be better personalised so it’s easier to identify what I’m looking for. Also, when I’m creating columns, the different views can be a bit tricky to work with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that it keeps paper trails for the copies I need to use in my marketing designs.

  • May 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for creating quick landing pages, with less clutter.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s nothing to dislike, because its simplicity makes it quicker to use. At the same time, that simplicity also means there’s a lack of choice when it comes to designing visually pleasing webpages….

Streamlines Knowledge Management with Notion AI but Setup Could Improve

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like Notion AI since it can search across multiple tools we use, like Slack and Google Docs. It's great for validating my responses to customers and checking if we can support certain features. Notion AI also helps by creating new Notion pages from the information I input, which saves me a lot of time when building playbooks and guides for my teammates. Additionally, I like how it links the resources it checks, as this allows me to double-check what Notion AI is referencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the ease to export guides as PDFs and share them externally would be great. Sometimes, I think jumping between Notion pages that are linked is a little confusing, so I think the user experience could be made a little bit better there. Also, ease of referencing older Notion AI searches could be a little bit better in the UI. It was not the easiest to set up Notion. It took a big effort to link all important historical documents that we wanted to make referenceable in Notion. It was quite manual for multiple team members to go and grab old document links to be able to bring them into Notion. Maybe there's a better way, but that's how we were advised to set it up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Notion to consolidate information, making it searchable across tools like Slack and Google Docs. It streamlines onboarding with playbooks and efficiently finds information using Notion AI. It saves time and improves team guidance.

Central Workspace with Impressive AI Capabilities

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I primarily use Notion as my central workspace for various tasks like managing vendor relationships and documenting research. I love its ease of use and the available functionality, making capturing and organizing information a lot easier than in a traditional program like Microsoft Word. In particular, I really like the feature that lets me transcribe conversations using Notion AI. This allows me to spend less time typing out notes manually during meetings and be more present in the conversation while still being able to reference what was discussed. We also have it plugged into Google Drive and Dust, making it great for linking necessary and relevant files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think something about Notion that can be improved might be the way their tables work. Sometimes it's difficult to copy and paste data out of those tables. I also think they're less intuitive to use than a standard spreadsheet. It also lacks the ability to leverage formulas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion organizes information for easy future reference and sharing, simplifies capturing and organizing data, and allows transcription of conversations to reduce manual typing, letting me be more present in meetings.

Notion Keeps Everything Organized in One Flexible, Adaptable Workspace

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
it keeps everything in one place without feeling overwhelming.
I don’t have to switch between different apps for notes, tasks, or ideas it’s all organized the way I want. The flexibility stands out the most. I can keep things simple or build more structured pages when needed.
It feels like a workspace that adapts to me, instead of forcing me into a fixed system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike about Notion is that it can feel slow and a bit clunky, especially when pages get heavy or you’re on mobile.
It’s also easy to overcomplicate things. You start with a simple setup, then suddenly you’re building complex systems instead of actually getting work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion solves the problem of everything being scattered.
