Notion AI is quite annoying. You dont need AI everywhere

What do you like best about the product?

I use Notion to help run my online printing business, and I find the AI agents incredibly useful for scanning my emails every morning. The AI breaks down my emails daily and archives the important ones, which streamlines my workflow. I also appreciate the Teamspace section for connecting with my business partner and keeping us on track with our goals. I like Notion's simple layout and design, and I really enjoy the built-in AI chat feature. It's convenient to have the LLM integrated directly into the Notion platform, allowing me to execute tasks easily. I greatly value the template space, as it provides a marketplace where creators can support each other with valuable templates. These templates simplify the process, making it easier to personalize a business after creating a Notion account. Setting up Notion was very easy, and as a first-time user, my partner and I routed Notion in about 15 minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?

I do not love the jumbled sections on the left-hand sidebar. I feel as if there must be a way to have that set up better. Maybe instead of the sections being on the left, there is a dedicated section of Notion that includes the hyperlinks to different sections in a more organized fashion.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Notion to organize my online printing business, preventing things from getting overwhelming. The AI agents help scan and organize my emails, and the teamspace keeps me connected with my partner and on track with goals.

What do you like best about the product?

I use Notion for work in project management and like how flexible it is. I also appreciate the AI chat options, as they help solve most of my problems. Notion helps optimize my time, allowing me to meet with my teams more frequently instead of creating tasks manually. The speed and accuracy the tool provides are extremely valuable to me.

What do you dislike about the product?

I wish there was a way to add definitions. I have to make a lot of corrections to the terms since I am in the aviation world. I would like a space to add acronyms and what they mean and have the AI note taker look there for definitions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Notion for note taking and organizing, which fills gaps in conversations I miss. It's flexible with AI chat options and creates checklists, optimizing my time and allowing more team meetings. Its speed and accuracy are valuable.

What do you like best about the product?

It really helps organize work and lets you set specific access for each teammate. The dashboards and filtering are also very user-friendly, and they give a broader perspective on everything.

What do you dislike about the product?

It seems like you may need Premium access and the AI features to get very specific, detailed figures and to enter more precise inputs.

It’s like a knowledge base for the whole company, helping newcomers and people at all levels keep up with documented updates. It also makes it easier to follow updates step by step, with screenshots for clarity.

What I like best about Notion is its sheer versatility as an all-in-one workspace. The clean, minimalist UI/UX makes it easy to transition from simple note-taking to managing complex databases. Its Performance is smooth, and the native Integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive keep our team aligned. On top of that, the built-in AI features have completely transformed how we brainstorm and summarize long project docs, offering an incredible ROI for the price.

What do you dislike about the product?

The search functionality can sometimes feel clunky, making it difficult to surface buried documents quickly. Setting up advanced database relationships and formulas isn't intuitive, often requiring a dedicated power-user to manage. Furthermore, offline Performance is limited, and some native Integrations with third-party tools require external connectors to sync seamlessly, adding unexpected manual overhead to our workflow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We struggled with fragmented information across multiple tools and slow RFP response times. Now, we use a single Notion database to manage all our product info, company documentation, and past responses in one place. This setup allows us to quickly pull accurate data and fill out RFPs significantly faster, saving our team hours of manual searching every week.

What do you like best about the product?

Very comfortable for dynamic document creation.

What do you dislike about the product?

There needs to be an option to import in the future. Right now, when I open a Samsung Notes file, it isn’t supported in the Notion app.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

AI has a future and it can be better. When a user gives a command or prompt, it creates a page, but it’s not as per the requirement. I need the pages to communicate with each other using links or queries, so the work is more dynamic and documentation is maintained properly.

Nothing in particular but sometimes app could be laggy

What do you like best about the product?

Notion's flexibility for structuring product updates is a standout. Being able to combine rich text, tables, and linked databases in one place makes it easy to keep stakeholders aligned without jumping between tools. The block-based editor feels intuitive once you're in it, and templates speed up recurring update formats significantly.

What do you dislike about the product?

The language around adding rows in table view is confusing. Calling a new row "New Page" doesn't match the mental model of working in a table, and it creates unnecessary friction when onboarding teammates who expect spreadsheet-like behavior. It makes a simple action feel more complex than it needs to be.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion helps consolidate bug tracking and project updates in one place, reducing the need to context-switch between multiple tools. Being able to link related pages, filter by status, and give the whole team visibility into open issues in a single view has made it easier to stay on top of ongoing work without losing context.

What do you like best about the product?

I love the fact that Notion agent can help bring all my work resources together and help with tracking of my tasks and projects.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would prefer a more user friendly interface where the demo is easier to follow through for none technical personnel

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Notion is helping with automating my repetitive tasks at work with the Notion agent which in turn is helping with saving my time.

What do you like best about the product?

User-friendly with a simple design, and easy to navigate.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly, I don’t see any real downside. I’d like to try the AI capabilities, but I’m not an admin in our org, so I can’t access or set that up myself. What I don’t like is that I can’t create spreadsheets and documents directly in Notion. Formatting can also be a challenge at times, and it takes extra effort to get things looking the way I want.
