Game-Changing AI Features, Boosted Workflow Efficiency

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Notion's clean interface and how powerful it is. The AI capabilities in Notion are a major highlight for me. Notion AI is a very powerful feature that significantly boosts my efficiency, like 100x. I appreciate its ability to read documents, create documents, cross-reference, and analyze data. It's really fast and takes care of a lot of the manual work I used to do, which I find game-changing. Overall, Notion works really well for me, and I never have complaints about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there's a lot of features in Notion that I haven't tried simply because there's just so much in there. So maybe knowing which features to use would make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves organization issues and workflow challenges. Notion's AI feature is very powerful, boosting my efficiency with its ability to read, create documents, and analyze data, making it a game-changing tool for me.

Powerful AI Tools and Integrations, but a Steep Learning Curve

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the range of tools available, and the incorporation of AI. There are a range of features ive yet to explore, however, my initial impression of the UI has been positive, and there seems to be a wealth of apps available for integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
What i dislike the least is the depth of the pages available. The pages seem to be basic information which makes tracking sub tasks a little more challenging. Further to this, the Ui isnt as good as other platforms. there seems to be a high barrier to learning and being great at the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving a performance issue. Im looking to get better at tracking and managing work, but also concsious of price, and notion seems to be ticking the boxes for now.

Flexible Knowledge Management with a Learning Curve

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Notion for both work and home, and I find its flexibility and interconnectivity incredibly valuable. It helps with knowledge management, acting as my second brain. I really appreciate the databases and embedded AI features at work as they help me stay on top of what I develop, project assets, summaries, and sharing thought pieces. Notion allows embedding knowledge in the project setup, not just tracking the project. As a power certified user, I found the initial setup easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Custom agents didn’t really work out for me. They feel much lesser to what Claude offers out of the box. Claude's agents feel smarter and easier to set up and tweak, and they're much more versatile in terms of data sources. There's also a steeper learning curve for my audience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps with knowledge management, acting as my second brain. It organizes development work, project assets, and shared content effectively. Transitioning from Asana, it embeds knowledge in project setups, not just tracking tasks.

A central hub for organizing everything in one place

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Notion is its level of customization.

The tool is built on a simple structure, yet it’s flexible enough to create fully tailored workspaces. You can start with very simple use cases and gradually evolve towards more complex and structured workflows.

The learning curve is also very progressive. It’s easy to get started, and you can discover more advanced features over time without feeling overwhelmed at the beginning.

Databases are a particularly strong feature. They allow you to structure information, create different views (tables, lists, dashboards), and build systems that are both powerful and easy to use on a daily basis.

I also value the fact that Notion is a true all-in-one tool. It brings together notes, projects, databases, and documentation in one place, which helps avoid juggling between multiple tools.

Another key advantage is its pricing. Even with the free plan, it’s possible to build very solid systems. As needs grow, the paid plans remain accessible considering the value provided — it’s a tool that can support the full organization of an activity.

Finally, it feels like a real “safe place” — whether used individually or collaboratively, it provides a clear and controlled environment to organize ideas, projects, and work.

There are still some areas for improvement, particularly around performance in larger workspaces, but overall the value it provides largely outweighs these limitations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Notion is a very powerful tool, there are still a few areas that could be improved.

The frequency of updates can sometimes feel overwhelming. While most changes are positive, they can be quite frequent, requiring users to constantly adapt their workflows and habits, especially when using the tool on a daily basis.

There is also a strong emphasis on AI features. While they can be useful in certain contexts, their prominence can feel a bit excessive and may not align with every user’s needs. A more balanced or customizable approach would be appreciated.

Performance can also become a limitation, particularly in larger or highly structured workspaces, where navigation may slow down.

Finally, while flexibility is one of Notion’s greatest strengths, it can also be a challenge. Without an initial framework, it’s easy to end up with workspaces that are difficult to structure or maintain over time.

That said, Notion’s ability to evolve quickly is a strong advantage, and these aspects will likely improve as the product continues to mature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Notion, I relied on multiple tools to manage notes, projects, and information. This made organization more complex, with time lost switching between tools and a lack of overall visibility.

Now, Notion allows me to centralize everything in one place. I can structure information, track projects, and organize ideas in a much clearer and more consistent way.

The main benefit is the time saved on a daily basis, along with improved clarity. Having everything in one place makes it easier to stay organized and make decisions.

Notion also enables the creation of scalable systems: what starts as simple organization can gradually evolve into a more structured and comprehensive workspace as needs grow.

Finally, it improves collaboration. Sharing information, working with others, and keeping everyone aligned becomes much easier within a single, structured environment.

Centralized Information Hub, But Task Management Falls Short

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Notion because it allows me to have all my things in one place rather than scattered between apps. It's extremely helpful for centralizing knowledge management, which was a major reason why my team decided to switch from other tools like Asana. I appreciate being able to create interconnected systems so I can see how everything fits together, making both work and life planning much more organized and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
For task management, Notion is somehow not as well suited as Asana and Monday, and many colleagues complain about this aspect. It is hard to describe, but the task management feels less smooth compared to those platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps me centralize all my information in one place and create interconnected systems, consolidating knowledge management beyond just task management.

AUTO fixing the workspace: The initial setup was awful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps with knowledge and project management. I use it to build a company’s backend that we query with AI.

AI-Powered Excellence for documentation

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like some of Notion's AI features, which let me go deep into finding information from a very big knowledge base. It's a better version of Google Doc for writing stuff. The AI helps me search stuff very well across Notion, making it very efficient. My onboarding was extremely simple, and I appreciate the SSO smart redirects and deep links built in really well. I like the depth in which the setup was taken care of. Notion has also scaled well with our growing team from less than 50 to about 200 people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know. There should be some way to automatically do, like, categorization. Also, if Notion can become better in terms of how agents like Cloud Code and Codex interact with it so that, for example, when I'm writing stuff, it just saves stuff somewhere randomly and I tell it to find the relevant place. If it can just give enough context to the AI agents who can utilize Notion in a better manner, that would be great. Also, maybe, like, identify what is written by AI agent and what is manually modified because there's a lot of slop coming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Notion helps with searching through documentation in the knowledge base. The AI features make finding information easy, and it's a better version of Google Doc for writing.

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to record and manage everything in my life.
What do you dislike about the product?
When first entering Notion, the blank white screen can feel overwhelming. Complete beginners often feel a barrier when they encounter Notion databases.

Before using Notion, my notes, tasks, ideas, and projects were scattered across different tools. Notion helps me organize everything in one place, so I can manage my work and life more clearly and efficiently.

Flexible Environment That Helps Us Solve Niche Problems

  • May 04, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We’re able to manipulate the environment to solve a lot of niche problems in our work, and much of that comes from running leaner as a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support may feel like it’s lacking. Not always though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Notion as a production environment. This includes monitoring pre-production and post production tasks, as well as live event handling, status tracking, metric reporting and more.
