Best Cloud Enterprise Search and Generative Answer Platform
What do you like best about the product?
All of the pieces fit well together into a great product. It is easy to use and very quick to get to value. Generative AI works great and is by far the easiest to setup. Customer service is amazing also. Integration to all of the major platforms and easy to extend or customize.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some customers prefer on-premise index and Coveo index is in the cloud, but most of the competition is just using a sandboxed cloud index anyways so it is more your perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting people to answers and unlocking information. Atomic UI and headless model makes it easy to implement and deploy.
Coveo. A great enterprise AI Search solution
What do you like best about the product?
Coveo is best-performing search solution in the market & has a strong future-looking roadmap tying artificial intelligence to tangible business improvements. It truly can & should operate as the search/AI backbone of your digital organization
What do you dislike about the product?
As a leader in the market, Coveo can price itself accordingly. Not a great solution for budget-sensitive custoemrs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coveo solves the large problem of not having to manually maintain/tune search results. Its AI algorithms handle this for our customers, saving operational time costs as well as improving digital KPIs like conversion rate.
Coveo has the most robust, comprehensive integrated search capabilities I've ever seen.
What do you like best about the product?
Their product is not limited to ecommerce, but has connectors and solutions for a variety of sources across robust and well-designed pipelines. Their solutions are easy to implement and use, and their training platform is absoutely next-level; comprehensive, clear and engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaint about Coveo. The team is engaged, professional and pleasant. I think they're in Central time, but I sit in Eastern Standard. I can't think of anything else negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coveo brings a comprehensive approach to ecommerce search supporting pipelines, search restrictions and solutions for internationalization. They have a suite of UI components, also, that make implementation of a headless solution easy, which is a very, very important thing.

The UI libraries documentation could be better

Helps combining our data from multipe sources and execute queries based on custom context which can be leveraged in ML models/pipeline to get relevant results

The setup is simple and UI is clean and easier to understand.

Sometimes when it errors while indexing, it is but hard to find the resolution.

The website uses Coveo for searching all products and the results are accurate.

Powerful capabilities that often needed a consultant to write code to utilize it.
What do you dislike about the product?
They made us pay everytime that we needed configuration or code change that was triggered by an upgrade.

Some tunining and configuration is somewhat complicated

Our company has lots of content added by several different users and being able to organize this for our users is the primary use case
Ability to configure search by use case and tune at the pipeline level allows us to focus specfic searches across all of our 60+ websites
Machine Learning does reduce the requirement to fine tune the search to a good degree

What do you like best about the product?
Coveo is a great, clean, and fairly straightforward enterprise-level search system for your web applications/website. If you have complex search needs, it provides a CMS-independent composable solution. They have fantastic support and documentation. It is a fairly easy system to learn and modify.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coveo is definitely an enterprise "Cadillac" search solution for your website. Unless you have complex search requirements for your visitors [i.e. large ecommerce store] or a large Fortune 500 type company, this may be a system that is more than you need. Like all martech investments, you also need the human-power invested in using and improving the system for your company. Without the headcount, again, you're buying more than you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coveo runs our search filtering and specific results on our enterprise website. We have multiple different channels of search [i.e. blog/insight content search results, global website search results, professional look-ups, etc.] and it integrates well into our system.

Coveo truly shines as the finest search service provider. Our fantastic support team effortlessly pinpoints the articles we need, even amid the sea of content penned by our organization. This brings forth solutions that bring a smile to both our clients and agents. One of these nifty features involves linking articles to Salesforce cases. Coveo comes complete with its very own set of analytics tools. These tools provide us with loads of information, helping us figure out which articles are worth crafting and how to best assist our beloved customers. Those reports also give us insights into what users are after and what they find challenging.
But here's the icing on the cake: Coveo's Senior Customer Success Manager, Kalla. She's an email away, always ready to answer our questions with a friendly touch. Kalla's like a treasure trove of insights on how to make the most of Coveo. Plus, she's a champ at sharing documents and training resources, making it a breeze for us to bring all these wonderful features to life. It's safe to say that Kalla and Coveo together make a winning team!

Navigating Coveo's admin platform can be a bit challenging, especially when it comes to handling the reporting section. Additionally, to truly grasp its workings, you might find yourself delving into various articles and watching several instructional videos. It's worth noting that this learning curve exists, but with a bit of effort and exploration, you'll be able to make the most of Coveo's features.

Coveo plays a vital role in trimming down the time our agents invest in searching for solutions to address customer issues. Moreover, it aids us in pinpointing which articles should be our next focus and which videos can have a more significant influence on our customers.
