Salesforce Data Cloud Makes Customer Unification and Segmentation Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with Salesforce Data Cloud for the last six months. So far, I’ve really liked how it makes customer unification easy and straightforward. Before Data Cloud, it was very hard to get a complete view of the customer. Now, having a unified customer view and better segmentation has made targeted marketing much easier for us. Data Cloud feels like a game changer if you’re dealing with multiple data sources and interacting with customers across different channels. Einstein Studio’s custom predictive models are also a very good add-on.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, everything works as expected and mostly covers our needs. The pricing feels like too much if you’re not going to use all the features. Great tool overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main challenge for us has been maintaining so many different data sources - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Snowflake, Pipe Drive, CSV files, etc. With Data Cloud, everything is in one place, which makes it a great choice for targeted and personalised marketing, along with strong segmentation options.

What I find challenging about Data 360 is its complex setup process and the steep learning curve required to get started.

Salesforce Data 360 brings together scattered customer data in real time, allowing for the creation of reliable profiles, quicker insights, improved personalization, and more informed decision-making for sales, service, and marketing teams.

I like that Salesforce Data Cloud saves me time and keeps everything condensed. It's valuable to me because everything is in one place. The setup was not difficult, making the transition smooth. It's a very good time saver, and I would recommend Salesforce Data Cloud to others.

Tried Salesforce Data Cloud in a trial love how it connects multiple data sources into unified customer profiles. Real-time insights, AI-driven segmentation, and strong integration with Salesforce apps make it a powerful tool for future adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is steep for smaller teams. Setup is complex and demands strong data hygiene. Performance lags at scale. The UI, data mapping, and segmentation tools can feel clunky, and documentation is sometimes lacking in depth.

All our data is in one place; easy to land data from external sources into it.

The usual Salesforce configuration headache... not as bad as other clouds though.
