What do you like best about the product?

I use it for getting prospect info, Company information and sometimes drafting email for my outreach.

What do you dislike about the product?

I do not feel like disliking anything but sometime the answers/ response I get is broadly described which can be point to point.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

As I mentioned It help me mapping some of my prospect for outreach and exploring ways to get in front of our client.

What do you like best about the product?

The best way I use Perplexity is for research, and I also rely on the news resources I get after doing a search. I trust Perplexity’s data to be about 99% accurate. I feel the information Perplexity shows is really helpful for research and for making progress.
Apart from this, the UX is clean, the usability is easy, and the results are prompt. This AI tool really changed how I used to do research.

What do you dislike about the product?

I feel if perplexity could have taken the approch to be more versatile with AI responses, that could have been more useful. I can get a good amount of research data but it is not enough to put that data into any proper reserach papers or blogs. I have to rephrase it via other AI tools so that it can be appealing to user/ readers. The cost is decent, but I would like more features and more versatile output if I am going with that pricing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I used to do research manually via Google, and it took hours. Perplexity helps me with that research part, cutting down 80% of the time by providing accurate data.

It is my go to ai appliation for all my coding and sql query requirements.

It is very good in coding. But in terms of general document creation tasks. It can be a bit weaker than other AI tools

What do you dislike about the product?

Dependency on external AI models and high operational costs are clear drawbacks. As a Pro subscriber, I’ve also run into issues when switching between models, along with low-quality sources at times and fluctuating rate limits. Compared with ChatGPT-style tools, Perplexity feels more limited in conversational depth and isn’t as strong for creative writing tasks.

Perplexity bridges the gap between traditional search engines accurate but fragmented and AI chatbots conversational but unverifiable, giving you direct answers with the receipts to back them up.

What do you like best about the product?

I like using Perplexity for its various ways of searching and the variety of models it offers. The ability to do image generation and use MCP and connections make it quite valuable for my tasks. I use chats with MCP to build and evaluate my Notion pages and create email drafts, which is really useful for me.

What do you dislike about the product?

Lately, Perplexity has made some changes to how the models work, and it doesn't allow you to use the selected models that you like. Instead, it routes you to different cheaper, low-performance models like Sonnet without explicitly mentioning it. They just add a message at the bottom saying 'prepared using Best because the " selected model name " was inapplicable or unavailable.' Additionally, answers are throttled, and there's a monthly limitation on image generation, even for pro subscribers. It feels like they're prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction, showing a greedy corporate side.

I use Perplexity for daily chat and researching. It allows choosing different models for varied outputs, which is great. However, recently, it doesn't let me use my preferred models, switching to low-performance ones without notice. Image generation limits as a pro subscriber are frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?

I love how quickly research information with reliable sources to build my teases and also, to create dashboards to control my client´s number. It saves me time by providing fast, well-organized answers with references that I can easily verify.

Creating dashboards usually takes a few rounds of prompting, but that's often because requirements become clearer as the dashboard evolves.

Perplexity helped me build a centralized dashboard where I can manage multiple clients in one place. It allows me to keep track of budgets, impressions, and campaign performance in a single, organized view. It also provides a clean, professional interface that I can easily share with clients, making it simple for them to understand campaign progress and remaining budget.

One area that could be improved is the pricing. The premium plans can be expensive for individual developers and frequent users. More affordable pricing options or higher usage limits in the free tier would make Perplexity accessible to a wider range of users. The pricing could be more flexible, especially for individual developers and students who use Perplexity regularly but don't need all the premium features. Introducing lower-cost plans, pay-as-you-go options, or increasing the free tier limits would make it more accessible. Offering regional pricing based on different markets would also help more users adopt the platform.

I use Perplexity to quickly find reliable information from multiple sources, summarize technical topics, and compare approaches. It automates research tasks, making the process faster and more productive, allowing me to focus on solving development problems instead of manual searching.

I like that it shows where the information came from. If something looks interesting, I can open the source right away instead of wondering if the AI just made it up. The follow-up questions are also surprisingly good, feels more like a conversation than a search engine.

Every now and then it misses a source that I know exists, or it leans too much on one website. It's not a huge issue, but for client work I still double check important stuff. Wouldn't mind if the Pro plan was a little cheaper either.

We mostly use it when we need to get up to speed on a topic really fast. Whether it's researching a new industry, checking competitors or looking into a market, it gives us a solid starting point without spending ages jumping between websites. Its fast, and it saves us a ton of time in the early research stage. It's become one of those tabs that's almost always open during work.

I use Perplexity mainly for its range of models which I find very useful. Claude helps me centralize all my research data in one place and organizes my files. I also appreciate Gemini's ability to provide the best outputs for simple and immediate queries. ChatGPT is great for the content sides of the business. Centralization of research through Perplexity speeds up my decision-making process and removes the need for cross-team communication. I also found the setup easy, with all models readily available, and the enterprise setup isn't difficult.

What do you dislike about the product?

The context memory across different chats with different models doesn’t always hold perfectly. I wish it could hold the memory better, but I'm not sure how those improvements could be implemented as I'm not a software engineer or familiar with machine learning.

That makes me feel much more confident when I’m researching technical topics or weighing different options.

It does a solid job of pulling information together from multiple sources and presenting it in a way that’s easy to understand and follow. The follow-up questions also feel natural, which lets me keep the conversation moving instead of having to start over each time.

What do you dislike about the product?

I don’t have any major complaints, but there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the answers feel a bit too brief for more complex topics, so I end up asking a couple of follow-up questions to get the level of detail I’m looking for. On the flip side, for simpler questions it can occasionally provide more information than I actually need.

I’ve also noticed that when a topic is changing quickly, it’s still worth checking a few of the linked sources rather than relying only on the summary. It’s not a big issue since the references are right there, but I still prefer to verify important information.

Aside from those minor points, the overall experience has been smooth. It’s fast, easy to use, and the time it saves during research easily outweighs these small drawbacks.
