Complicating App Development with Process
What do you like best about the product?
Tanzu, in managing Kubernetes and making app development difficult. It has a bit of a learning curve and initial setup difficulty once you get the hang of it becomes hectic to use. The integration with CI/CD tools needs to be improved. The installation process needs to be smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tanzu is marketed as a cost saving solution but lacks evidence of how it reduces expenses. It claims to simplify processes the platforms lack of transparency and detailed explanations make it difficult to trust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are resources for learning and troubleshooting leaving users to deal with issues independently. Tanzu falls short of delivering on its promises and providing a reliable experience, for users. Tanzu provides no flexibility in managing our business applications.

Development teams an automated path to production for custom code and a secure.

Errors that occur among teammembers, and sometimes the app it's self.

Highly available runtime that scales to support the demanding systems.
Complex kubernetes platform
What do you like best about the product?
Since the Tanzu is part of the existing vsphere solution , it is easy to manage for the admins , TMC tool for tanzu administration is made in such a way that admins can easily understand it to create & manage the k8s clusters. Creation & administration of RBAC is so simple via TMC. I like the granularity of Tanzu observability tool which gives the monitoring in effocoent way , can be integrated with 3rd party tools like helm , contour etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tanzu implementation is so complex , may be it's my own point. Since we struggle to implement. TKGs is so simple to implement but TKGm is very complex , even after 6 months of struggle we couldn't implement & we dropped it ( even we have vmware support). The vmware tanzu support is not so great. For any tanzu issues they take more time to resolve. And faced couple of tanzu issues which doesn't have any solution except to recreate the k8s cluster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have migrated our k8s workloads from EKS to VMware Tanzu (onprem) to save the cost. We have reduced the cost , in that way management was very happy in saving a huge money.

What do you like best about the product?
Tanzu is VMware application.it is very user friendly. we can impliment is very easely with our organization. if i am talking about integartion part it is also easy.no of fetures is also good you can Simplify platform operations across clouds and also Secure all your apps and data

Documentation is not up to the speed.some time customer care response time is high

there is flexibility of the product is good part of the feature. DevOps Transformation.Scalability and Resource Efficiency. best part it is could based platform so no need to worry about the data loose

What do you like best about the product?
Tanzu simplifies deployment process for developers . It has great capability of kubernetes management and It has flexibility across multiple cloud platforms also It has excellent security management with good customer support .

There is nothing to dislike about Tanzu working as expected.

Tanzu simplifies tedious work of app development and deployment. It reduces time consumption.It ensures smooth orchestration and provide super security as it's a vmware tool.being a developer I am satisfied with this tool.

Sometimes setup can be tricky. It's not always super clear, a bit confusing. Takes time to learn, not instant. Some issues pop up, not always smooth

Tanzu is a game-changer for me. It makes things simple, like setting up and managing stuff. The interface is easy, not confusing at all. This helps me work faster, especially when deploying apps and dealing with containers. Even when there are issues, Tanzu helps sort them out. Best VM onboard
What do you like best about the product?
It is the best VM for orchestration and also a best tool to accelerate our development delivery. It includes DevOps part which includes Kubernetes to streamline the complete part to end of delivery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tanzu needs a bit way which removes stains on collaboration. The better it can approach if it can relates with another tools better than OCP. So it accelerates the best of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team getting benefitted a lot with Tanzu as Container management and DbaaS. It helps a lot on VM end to overcome a lot of dislike as last tools. DbaaS also play a lot of roles to elevate our best to success for our delivery.

certificate management is very difficult,compatibility issues, initial setup, and configuration are a little confusing with manual configurations.
