Versatile Design Tool With Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there are so many things to create on Canva. The various features like uploads, elements, text, apps, and edits make it feel like my home away from home. I really enjoy using it for my sublimation printing projects. I also appreciate the ease of learning; it's kinda easy, and I learn something new every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no print then cut feature, so I have to use Cricut. I love the app but wish it was free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love Canva for its variety of creative options, though I wish it had a print then cut feature for sublimation printing.

Canva is really simple and beginner friendly. It helps create professional looking designs quickly with ready templates, drag and drop tools, and easy editing features. It saves a lot of time for presentations, posts, and creative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some useful elements and templates are only available in the paid version which can feel restrictive. It also becomes slow sometimes while handling large projects, and advanced editing options are limited compared to professional design software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the problem of creating good quality designs without needing advanced design skills or expensive software. It helps me make presentations, social media posts, posters, and other creative content quickly and easily, which saves both time and effort.

What do you like best about the product?
As a university student, I frequently need to create academic presentations. What I like best about Canva is its massive library of templates and how easy it is to add complex visual elements. Recently, I had to design a 15-slide presentation on Black Holes for my physics class. Canva made it incredibly easy to integrate scientific animations and structure the slides professionally without needing any advanced graphic design skills. The drag-and-drop interface is a lifesaver when you are juggling multiple assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most frustrating part about Canva is that many of the best visual elements are locked behind a paywall. While making my physics presentation, I noticed that several high-quality scientific icons, 3D animations, and advanced templates required a Canva Pro subscription. As a university student on a tight budget, it can be disappointing to find the perfect graphic for an assignment, only to realize you cannot use it without a watermark unless you pay to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a science student, the main problem I face is presenting complex scientific topics—like my recent 15-slide project on black holes—in a visually engaging way. Traditional presentation software often feels rigid and boring. Canva solves this by giving me an intuitive platform to easily combine academic text, diagrams, and animations without needing a graphic design background. The biggest benefit is the massive amount of time I save on formatting, allowing me to focus more on the actual physics content while still delivering a highly professional presentation to my professors.

It's very difficult to select color a few times. The color selection should be more easy. The initial setup of Canva was challenging.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva mainly as a student and club member in the social media team for making presentations, creating printables like stickers, standees, posters, Instagram posts, and stories. I find Canva makes creating easy and convenient compared to traditional software like Photoshop. I appreciate the availability of various pre-loaded creatives, which help me load elements into my creative projects faster instead of having to search elsewhere like Google. The one-tap, almost effortless sign-up process is great, and working in teams is so much easier through the sharing feature.

The AI features are very good but tend to hallucinate. Also, the video editing on Canva is not really that good.

Easy to Use for Polished, On-Brand One-Pagers and Quick Video Edits
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use and doesn’t require much onboarding to jump right in. I don’t have a ton of design experience, but that hasn’t stopped me from creating beautiful, professional-looking one-pagers or doing quick video edits. We’re a very small company without a marketing team, so this product helps us fill the gaps we currently have in-house while still looking professional, polished, and on brand at a fraction of the price of a designer or marketing firm.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new video editing software can sometimes be a little buggy. I have found that I often need to quit the desktop editor and reopen it, but it does always save my progress so its not too big if deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

For us, Canva isn't just helpful; it's our entire design and marketing department.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is so easy to use and it makes everything look professional! I love using it with my students in my classroom. The educational access is so helpful for me and my students as well.

nothing- it is great! Everything works so smoothly!
