Proven product and leading vendor in the integration space
What do you like best about the product?
webMethods provides out of the box adapters for majority of COTS products and makes integration easy and simple. Their support team is amazing and diligent in resolving issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve client engagement involve clients in product features, deliver the features requested by clients in a timely manner
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've built many financial products using webMethods that enabled wide-range of integration from legacy mainframe systems to mobile applications. Designed a solution that processes 10M events per hour that sends real-time alerts to consumers

BPM part a little more complex and difficulties on product migration

the performance, the efficency, the stability

the support with whom you have to fight a bit to have a another answer than "apply the last patch to test"

Interconnect multiple applications with a single bus avoiding network port open issues, streamline the interfaces between applications
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use SAG consultant to help you. I used 20 days the first year, 10 the second and this year, about 5 are budgeted

Cost of the product is more. This is complaint received from most of the clients

Flow language which allows business guys understand data mapping between integrated systems and CDM on webMethods ESB.

So far I did not recognize anything that I should say that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On-line integration between Portal for Intermediaries (Agents, Brokers) and Back End system
(current integration was based on xml files stored on FTP daily but not on-line)
More secured integration. Portal is in DMZ, Back End in LAN that's why we decided to use Enterprise Gateway to meet requirements of Polish Insurance Market Regulator.
(The connection must be initiated from LAN to DMZ).

The adaptability and architecture of the product. It's design is so noble that becomes as flexible as the company needs. It's stable and has great scalability..

When it comes to a small business case or a small company, the costs could affect the company decision of using this product.

ESB, ETL, Transactionals layers. The benefits: fast implementation, stable and reliable.

The most efficient non open source ESB on the market

The solution is high-speed and efficient. I appreciate the partnership approach to cooperation, also after software implementation.

It's the disadvantage of every solution of this type - access to developers.

What do you like best about the product?
B2B Integration, APAMA and powerful inbuilt services to integrate with multiple platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
My webMethods Server. Though SAG want to incorporate everything into one component MWS, it has became clumsy and performance wise the TN component we had earlier in 7.1.2 was better wrt performance and usability

Trading partner onboarding, Integration with multiple platforms like Oracle, MF, SAP. ease of use and build an integration solution
